  2. Found this.. Race Ready DR30 pretty good if you got the cash to splash..
  3. i would have bought it just for that rear garnish for the boot lid!
  4. nice to see some interest from some nissans, and a ford. hopefully we get a nice sunny day!
  5. sweet, according to that diagram what i wanna do is gonna work. cheers.
  6. i dont fully understand the afm bit, if it gets more air wont it just read it as more air? its just air.
  7. what happens if you plumb it back before the afm? my afm is in my cooler piping after the cooler and before the tb? i was gonna plumb the bov from between the tb and the afm and throw the air into the front of the turbo.
  8. i think i have seen this around a few times. one time i recall in bay st brighton? is this the same one?
  9. Hi, Anyone planning to head down to hanging rock this year for the macedon ranges car clubs annual picnic? It is usually a pretty good day with a massive array of cars on display. Its on sun the 14th of feb
  10. external wastegate is plumbed in after the turbo into the exhuasts dump pipe. what im suggesting is that the vented air from the bov is pushed into the ex manifold so the turbo gets a thrust of air to keep the turbo spooling between changes. maybe im looking too much into it..
  11. Where is the best most efficient place to plumb back your bov. into the front of the turbo or into the exhaust manifold before the turbo? i cant find many people that have plumbed it back into the exhaust manifold, is there a reason for this?
  12. that is sweet, i gotta be doin this soon only difference its with 32gtr calipers. Think they are the same as stock r33 brakes.
  13. you would need an engineers certificate too, like the other guys have said, if you are building an old car, dont expect to hold it to a budget.... i budgeted 6k for my car. ended up around 11k..and its still not finished.
  14. that 4 door, does it have good interior?
  15. the more you take out of the way the more work and time but the easier it is and less chance of causing damage to things you dont want to break.
  16. i think i may have a set of pedders comfort gas with h/d springs if you're interested.
  17. i just noticed that you are from wa. i had the luxury of being able to use the container for freight and picking up the items myself. heavy items like cv's and diff centres wouldnt be cheap to send to perth. i cant remember %100 how much i was charged for shipping as it was a while ago now..
  18. i dont want to seem like im advertising but if you are not in a rush i suggest you check out importmonster. i got a moustache bar for like 10 bucks and new shafts for around 200. i bought a nismo 2.0way lsd for another 200. i managed to find a r200 vlsd for 290 from a wrecker in ringwood. diff guy charged me $100 to fit the center to the diff housing. so if you shop around you can build it for way under 1k.
  19. that right, you want interchangeable parts not custom items.
  20. an sti diff is just an r180 with an sti center isnt it? so an r200 would be better coz its bigger?
  21. thats exactly what i did. the guys that do the wheel alignment didnt mention anything about geometry to me. The car drives fine and steers fine.
  22. how did you go with the s14 hubs? what do you plan to do for the rear 5 stud conversion? i used s13 hubs and coilovers with all other suspension items standard r30 bits.
  23. tape decks are shorter and fit a lot nicer in the space given. cd decks are bigger coz they have to accommodate a cd. they all have approx the same depth and when you have three sets of rca's stickin out the back of it, there is just not enough room!!
