  1. You; SAFC & SITC, service and tune. If any left buy a beer. Me; Plane ticket return to Fiji hopefully. If not, my RX2 13bt needs the GT42R fitted to it and a tune! If all else fails, I will be buying plenty of Scotch and Dry!!
  2. I finished at 12 today!! Running at 2 beers per hour.
  3. I've ground a few cranks before. Did you have crank checked for straight aswell because I reckon you would be real lucky if crank wasn't bent. Means it will require a grind all over if not to bent. Doesn't your machine shop supply bits? Have you googled for 'ACL bearings' site?
  4. Daveb. Are you going to sus out 'frozen boost' cooler?
  5. Got our wagon back last Friday and took it for a drive Saturday to blow the cob webs out after 2 months, believe me they are all gone!!! 'Vi-pec plug & play' works a treat with auto. My vote for Pete Lockett at Fuel Tech Automotive, Launceston.
  6. NARTRI. Glad to hear you got it worked out. Work fine on my Stagea, just didn't get it tuned.
  7. Does anybody know of any SK Bilstein shocks with circlips and extra grooves to suit S2 Stagea that need a home. I fitted Whiteline sway bars front and back whilst car was of the road and noticed rear left shock was leaking. We allready have HKS springs fitted aswell, so I don't want standard shocks!
  8. Nice. What year? Auto? Standard? Happy boosting.
  9. No dyno. Only using bleed valve at moment but when part needed turns up we will have Vi-pec boost controlling!!
  10. Took wagon for a run today to blow cob webs out and let me tell everybody they are all gone!!!!!! Vi-pec works a treat with auto. Wagon goes heaps better. Running 12lbs boost. When part needed turns up I will take car back for a day and have the boost controller fine tuned. Pete is keeping a few trade secrets to himself about auto setup. Just need to wait 12 months to be able to afford a little Garrett and front mount maybe. Another 5lbs would be niiiice now we can tune to suit. In the mean time I can get back to fitting up the GT42R to my RX2 with 13bt S4 engine, that turned up for christmas. I love boost!! Happy boosting to all!!!
  11. Just rang Pete Locket at (edit) 'Fuel Tech Automotive' and the wagon can finally be picked up tomorrow morning. It was a mission to get it going. It is 99% finished. Pete has ordered another part he found he needed. Will go blow the cob webs out tomorrow and let people know.
  12. Each to their own on best. Fueltec Automotive, Kingsmeadows.
  13. Fueltec Automotive, Kingsmeadows.
  14. I like the look of these. Look like they may go close fitting in smic position. Also PWR in australia make barrel coolers.
  15. They told me ecu would be 'over night'. Thats why I dropped it off. I told them it's not coming till it is fixed.
  16. Wagon has been at mechanics since Tues. Ecu must be on the slow boat!! Looks like it's going to be late this week before it's going. Not happy Jan!!! Around $750 for fitting and tuning.
  17. Safc finally sold. Just need Vi-pec to turn up!!!!
  18. They are designed to catch anything bigger than a match head.
  19. Did you fit a 'Radiator Sock' when you put rad. back in? They save alot rubbish blocking rad.
  20. S2 auto. Looks like it's going to take another week. High demand for new Aussie brand!
  21. What mods? Did you pay money for mods? I would expect turbo to be clean inside and out! Hot soapy water should move it.
  22. Our S2 has been a great allround car for the past 3 years. Our 3 year old daughter loves going boosting, but the car has been off the road for around 8 weeks now. It started with a blown head gasket 2 days before new years. Head gasket fixed ok. Then told ecu was stuffed (running ruff). If the Vi-pec ecu board doesn't hurry up and turn up it won't be our last car!!!!! LOL and crack another beer. Was told I would have car back today. Looks like I we have wait another week. Sounds like demand is high for this new Aussie brand!
  23. Horsepower hero, cruiser or track car??
  24. Go 34gtr or if money is no probs why not go the AP's!! Big brakes are just as good as having lots of grunt, plus a necc. with lots of grunt!!
  25. What are needing them for?? Where are we going to hold the engine blow up comp?? I have a reco'd head that needs assem.
