what temp ? or are you just estimating? in the manual i have for the euro 200 sx they have temp sensors on the diff. the red light comes on at 180 deg c then turns off at 155 deg c. which is ***en hot.

well, thats going by the acuracy of the speedo settings. because of non standard wheels i used a gps on a freeway. then drove at 100 by the gps and set the speedo to match. the wheels meant the speedo was about 2-3 % out. it didnt just get there like was on a open road and held it for about 20-30 km then afterwards checked. good fun.

i had some also fun installing all the crap into my car. i know how you feel. its good when you get it all done. my mate helped me with mine and we installed rsm, apexi s-afc II, defi guages, defi vsd, apexi turbo timer all in one go, then after that the car wouldnt run. we sat arround checking everything couldnt work it out. we solderied everything except one of the afm wires had crimp connectors already inline, so we just used that. but the original crimp had come loose. no afm meter. that would do it. otherwise we had no problems at all, everything worked perfect. happy as pig in shit.

the defi vsd has two models. if you goto the www.defi-shop.com i think is the website. they should have the manual there. i have the sports vsd which does those options but ive never used it so i cant tell ya how to set em. either way the manual has all the info.

im currently work on a nice system in my car. for the subs im making a box to take the space of the rear seat and placing two 12's in there. i just places some home hifi tens in there and wired them off my amp etc and the bass was amazing. for the amps they will be under and behind the sub box. going to be a bastard to make but will sound great. i dont want rear seat anyway an i want my boot empty for a fuel cell later on.

im mainly aiming at high speed shit. i want to break 200 miles an hour within the next year. should make a hell of a video. anyway the z32 diff is a 3.51 ratio rather than a 4.11. and that means higher speeds. slow take off. but longer legs.

i work on my car which is a import, but that doesnt really count. im simply going by what i was told by a dude whom sold imports. im planning on trying to put a z32 dif into my r33 so when i get arround to that ill tell you how it does.

i would say in your thinking about the comparsions, tuning shouldnt be included since if you get a itc you have to get someone to retune your car anyway. so in both options its going to be a cost. and the install, well if your not going to do the emanage yourself then will you do the itc yourself? ive never deal with the emanage, but i couldnt c it being that much harder than the itc. all my after market stuff i put in with a mate in one go (except the itc i just got) defi guages, defi vsd and a safc II after getting a little ***ed up. we managed but we kept looking at each other saying errrrr this is really to much to think about. anyway, most things you can find instructions for (ive got them for the itc if needed) so if you can follow them you shouldnt have a problem.

ive been working out a way of setting up the motorised linkages for the screen i plan on using. im doing a big massive chop the crash pad to bits and reshape it. then ill get a 15 inch lcd screen and mount this to the motorised linkages. in the end there will be a screen and key board sitting infrount of the passnger that when you hit a button moves towards the passenger, when you hit another button folds over to face the driver. the hardes thing ive had going so far was working out how to move the damm thing. but i need to talk to the old mate whom does my lathe and mill work, c if he can do what i need. but its looking good so far. that screen will end up with a computer having camera's. gps shit, and allot of other crap. should be good fun. if not allot of work for a really wanky feature. i might even after all that need a hks camp to display my engine features unless i change to a motec or something that has software for computers.
