hehe ur still going on mate. hmm a GTT a lemon. i thought it was a new car and would have less problems. thats what half the post here are saying? the GTT has a miss which is associated with the coilpacks and the silicon fix did not work.. so is a genuine 47k GTT a lemon when it came with 3k Volk Te37 265 potenzas and ohlin coilovers.? for the same price as my GTR? quite a steal in my eyes. its prob best that people post in this thread if they have previously driven one of both of the cars and can give a deffinate unbiased opinion of these two cars. thanks chris

thank you for that. so im running 90degrees all the time. thats correct sometime fluxuates above.. but hasnt been anywher near the half way. its been halfway between the 90 and halfway mark. what degrees is that? and i dnt boost without the guage being over the first line. dont even drive it without the needle moving lol.. thanks bud

the adjuster puts pressure on the non ridged side.. it should have a cover though

ahaha yeah ok. so the theory is that old 17yo GTRs blow up.. right.. thats a yes and knw story. it depends on condition realy. i knw of MORE RB25 and RB20 spinning bearings than GTRs that has had any engine problems. my mate GTR has 130kms on the clock and it idles better than a GRJ120 prado V6.. he produced massive figures on standard turbos which have last him that long.. and how? due to matinence and not pushing beyond limits. he did also clean his oil lines in terps.. its funny how people drive a RB25 R33 and put a GTR spoiler on and GTR badge and think they have a race car.. saw one at hyperdome last night GTST was designed as the poverty pack GTR. i knw its hard to swallow. haha has anyone actualy felt the standard GTR suspension.. i knw of some in perfect condition which are far tighter than the GTT ohlin coilovers.. i like the GTT but i love my GTR

the platniums should restand heat and abuse more than the coppers.. less prone to heads being blown off. but they still lose efficency within 10k.. so may aswell replace them. using the coppers ull save money and change them at the same intervals... whats the exact part number for the RB25DET Neo for 0.8mm coppers.? i got $8 each platnium DENSOs for the R. bit better than coppers for $3

not sure on skylines but on toyotas. prius. camry. kluger. prado . echo adn so on. it is located behind the glovebox before the fan motor. it is called a pollen filter. hope that helps

hey bit off topic too sorry. ur running 7.5inch rims.. how wide tyres can u fit? but u think u can fit 245 on 7.5rims? im really hoping to.?

is it the one for 16k in the FS section,...? hmm if u are soo concerned dont buy one.. i havent heard of an engine going just cause of daily driving.. give it one or two blips and she wont go.. she starts to feel strain when u heat her up too much. when u start to see ur oil temp go up on the guage then u knw ur sending them turbos into hyperspace. back off if ur scared.. to be honest even though i have full faith in my turbos cause of its condition and being steel. i never give it any when the oil temp is above the line after 70 (quarter mark).. other owners knw what im talkin about. normally it will sit below that line.. is that the same for u guys..? it sits below the quarter mark on the oil temp?

nah sorry chris. just the R34 GTT sets. i have a set of 18*9.5 18*9 VOLK TE37 that i will include if she goes for $22,250... currently on the R34 GTT. they have 265-R18 rear potenzas and 245-R18 fronts 85-90% thread

oh shucks.. if we wernt close friends already and jade wasnt with me i would kiss u.. ahaha looks like GTR are the upgrades still andz69: my vote should count. i am the tester. ill give the GTT a thrash and my GTR a leasurly drive and the GTR still comes out on top.. but chris loves driving the GTT dont ya buddy.

of course it will flow better. but seeing as it is vacum not pressurised.. the inside has ridges and the wire holding it together. well it does in GTR.

trial and error. it may work.. prob different values on and or voltage.. but 12v is 12v

yes i second the atessa... check that.. hicas will most likely fail.. i would always pay a bit more and get something just a bit better.

coming from someone who can afford a R34 GTR the best of the 80s..? or 90s?

mine was totally clean when i got it. but being a messy mech i just did a brake fluid flush and spilt some and got a rag and that was it.. haha. also dropping tools on the rocker cover chips paint too. but wher else do u put it with one hand down the turbo side.? hmm yeah some tachos screw up big time when put back pass 100 if its been over 100..? my mate tried it in his CA18DE s13.. check if his C pillar has log books on it?
