Mine is slightly different, as I don't have an Air Flow Meter to join it up to, but otherwise it's pretty much the same. Just in case you don't understand, I'm running a MAP sensor instead of the AFM . There obviously is a point to it, to keep the warm engine bay air away from the pod filter. If you want to see my setup, mine is the engine bay pic in dezz's F1 photo thread, like the second pic down.
And the fact I got defected, is because it is my 2nd intake modification. Simple. Unless you leave the standard airbox, then you will get done everytime. (Give or take on the cop).
So just pass it with a standard airbox, and get a CF airbox afterwards for a bit of eye candy. It seriously ISN'T that hard. Or is it?
