  1. pm sent about some info on the other ones mate free bump
  2. i second that and after you buy it take me for a spin yeah Dan, i only plan on keeping it for 6-12 months at the least - maybe more if things keep good financially
  3. hah bam. feels like it has been forever already. I did what i needed to do holidayed, cleared the ccard and now its car time again
  4. Theres hardly ever one in the paper/automags and none in the For Sale section, does anyone know of a 32 GTR for sale in Perth at the moment? (apart from the widebody veilside) I am primarily after a 91-93 model in any colour other than gunmetal grey (been there, done that), but will consider an '89. hopefully with the amount of skyline nuts on here and performance workshop nerdo's someone may be able to help pwned
  5. hah..i doubt it mate it was urgent over 12 months ago.
  6. you pay a bit more for just cars, but you will get the cover that you are after. Mods and Full value. You cant be too impressed with HBF if they wont listen to your stated value of the car
  7. i would consider that, but im after a 90's car. This purchase is not really for performance, its more for just having a fun functional get around car and have always wanted a ute. not fussed if i do a transplant in the brumby or not. Im saving my pennies for a house deposit. The cheapo corolla i bought drives like a dream, but just really sucks ass to be seen in public with. I used to see quite a few brumbys for sale last year when i was looking, but it was slim pickings in the quokka/sundaytimes last week
  8. its hard not to sell after a year, im the same way. And agreed, its hard to get excited over a gts-t 70-80k on a 34GTR is difficult to justify, but if its only for a year you dont lose too much money i guess. Good luck anyway we caned this thread ..yeaw
  9. dont be fooled. Think about the crappy handling, the cheap interiors, the constant petrol guzzling, driving in the wet sucks too with that much low end torque, wet cornering, modifying them is boring. It is an impressive ute though, especially when he drives it - awesome control We went down the same road Dan, from 8's to jap, and the only way i would ever get another 8 is if its my second car that i would use as a weekender. I still love them though.
  10. thanks guys, Yeah Dan, saw Georges along Leach a few years back, and was impressed. Just need a makeover car until its GTR time. I hear that our friend Brett has nearly converted you back to the darkside ? Hes boasting about it.
  11. Hi guys - dont fancy my chances b-u-t...., Im chasing a 90's Subaru brumby ute. If anyone knows of one for sale in decent nick, or knows of a perth subaru forum it would be much appreciated! av
  12. yeah definately..anyone that refuses to have the car inspected has something to hide. If he complains that he doesnt have the time tell him the inspection can go to this workplace or whatever. When you sell a car, and someone wants an inspection, you do it - its never easy selling a car, so if you have nothing to hide then an inspection is a blessing ...not a burden. And like Strich said, you can find 15k 1993-4 turbo R33's, plus 4X4 N/A will be a slow ride. If you go N/A you may want to consider a lighter RWD.
  13. and jezzrrr. Are you related to Reece? I work with him - i caught a glimpse of your two children. Very nice machines I figure not too many people in perth have the same vehicle combination
  14. Just Car Insurance i can definately recommend, I changed over to them from Famous Classic Cars as I wasnt impressed with Famous' customer service. Just Cars was a couple hundred $ cheaper. They also advertise the fact that they will attempt to insure everybody regardless of record and mods - i guess you just have to be prepared to pay a bit more cash for it if your record isnt the best...but at least you get insured.
  15. hey mate, always best searching the forums for the answer to this as it has been asked many times. But anyway, i usually answer - A guy i know does tinting after hours from home. PM me if you want his details, he lives in bullcreek. Top bloke who has done a few Skyline Aus cars. I think he charges around the $180-220 mark for any tint you want. Sometimes a bit more if previous film/tint needs to be removed.
  16. Kym...maybe your email got on some shared list. For example if you put your email addr down with Autosalon or Repco or something...(purely and example!)
  17. a lot more market for a $500 corolla than a sports car. People in perth really dont have that much money compared to bigger cities, so you just have to be a bit persistent. Dont try for too long though, sometimes it works out better to just lower your price as you may end up spending $500 in a matter of weeks in advertising alone. there are heaps of uni students looking for corollas..heaps of performance car drivers looking for corollas for runabouts, thats why they sell like hotcakes. Plus they hardly ever die
  18. pics attached
  19. nah its not. Should be on their old invoices. thanks for looking though
  20. Has anyone got the physical office address of J-Spec in melbourne? They may have it on their invoices if they have dealt with them in the past cheers av
  21. quite wrong. The people who ask for pics and never call up are called "Timewasters". So many on these forums, they just want to look at everyones car. If someone is genuinely interested they will call, photo or not, just like they would do in the newspaper classifieds. Someone willing to part with $40k isnt scared of a phone call, how different can it possibly look to every other 33GTR? good luck with the sale calvyn
  22. im not so amped for this one...if i could sell my ticket i would pike it. ive been to a few events lately and they have all been at the same venue. Time to save some $$
  23. its so nice to have an event on a friday for a change, it leaves a bit more recovery time. Just a shame its at the MonkeyBar/Metros combo *again* Bring on Belmont racecourse...i love that venue
  24. hehe the Wookie guy?
