  1. You should be able to pick them up from as little as $350 - $400. Seen a few for sale on here on a number of occasions.
  2. No cons really besides traction. One of my mates done this conversion along with basic supporting mods and we were blown away with the results. Although he wasn't pushing massive power (208rwks), the response of the rb25 along with the weight of the 32 made it a bit of a street weapon. Here's the link of his for sale ad. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/SOLD-t130416.html
  3. Farken hell whats wrong with people. $650 is a bargain. If i didn't have to fork out money for another intercooler, i would have bought this straight away. Good luck with the sale.
  4. Good turnout considering the weather. It was good to meet everyone that cruised from Narre to the east pre meet. Thanks Slik_LA for helping organise. It was good to meet everyone although i've forgotten names already but more meets will help with that. I got lost for a while on the way to AP with a few other lines but looking forward to the next one. What's this i hear of another one in 4 weeks? Wasn't at AP for very long.
  5. Hey, If anyone has a intercooler for sale far a 32 gtr please let me know. Looking for the standard replacement or quality a aftermarket cooler. It must be a straight fit and in perfect condition. Not after anything manufactured in China. Thanks
  6. Your choking and spluttering is most likely being caused by your spark plugs. Did you re-gap them to coincide with the extra boost? It sounds like you're hitting rich & retard. You'll also notice a fairly sizable flatspot of power on WOT between around 3800 & 5000rpms. Do a search and you'll find a plethora of information on this subject. I've been through this myself and found that it's not worth increasing boost pressure unless you have after market engine management or a piggy back ecu.
  7. Hey All, I had a little mishap in my car on the weekend and as a result i have a big dent in my intercooler from a tow bar. I've been looking at a few and just wanted any opinions or recommendations on what will be ideal to get. Do any of the aftermarket coolers offer any significant gains over the standard GTR core? My car is currently standard but in future will be probably running some N1's and supporting mods. I basically want something that's going to be a direct replacement and bolt straight on with minimal fuss. I came across the Blitz LM but the kit only comes with a core. Is this because it uses all the factory piping? Btw i have a budget of around 1k Thanks for any input.
  8. I'm pretty certain the 'Kouki' gearbox in an R32 gtr is used with a 'pull' type clutch.
  9. Can someone please confirm with me where the airbox draws the air in from and if this is restricting it?
  10. I have a Apexi safc + sitc piggybacks for sale which work together to control a/f and ignition.
  11. I experience the same problem too. If i sit at a traffic light for too long and then accelerate off, all i can hear is the clutch fan over the 26. It also does it after i start it up. Takes a good few minutes of driving before the noise goes away. I Would also like to know what's causing this?
  12. geez another one. It seems theres a slide highflow popping on a weekly basis.
  13. Anyone else from Berwick, narre, hallam + surrounding areas wanting to cruise to the east meet at Mega Mart together? PM myself or Slik LA
  14. Thanks for your reply guys. If it came like that from the factory i may aswell leave it. Will the ARC vent significantly reduce heat around the intercooler? As Mr Keets & Beer Baron said, I can't see it being very beneficial unless you have an oil cooler.
  15. Hey all, About a month ago i purchased a 32 gtr but it wasn't until recently i noticed that the front left air duct is blocked off with what feels like a piece of rubber. Is this normal on a stock gtr? The front bar has been resprayed and i'm starting to think that its been left on afterwards. Would this having any effect on the intake? Thanks

    Fuel Smell

I would also be checking the fuel lines to and from the fuel filter.
