Is it in the fuse box under the bonnet titled blower/radiator fan?

I went to start my car this morning and found my 6 month old battery was dead - couldn't even recharge it. Anyway purchased a brand new battery and immediately as i hooked it up the front thermo fan started spinning which is the obvious cause of the flat battery. Has anyone experienced this issue before? Car is a 32 gtr.
