  4. Theres nothin wrong with a maxima. Have a drive in one and you will find its a more refined and superior car than both the calais and 380 with its silky smooth V6. You cant compare it to a skyline as its targeting a different market. Nissan need to something to fill the huge gap between the pulsar and maxima.
  5. Hi everyone i'm posting on behalf of my brother. He has just purchased a R33 GTR and wants to know some reputable workshops in the south east. The car is experiencing inner wear on all four tyres. It has HKS adjustible suspension. Do you have any suggestions on where to take it? I've read some bad stories on here about places such as pedders so we are trying to avoid them. Also there seems to be a some engine vibration when the car hits 7000rpm. Could anyone suggest what this may be? The car has been freshly imported and has basic mods. These include full 3' exhaust, frount mount, oil cooler, mines ecu. I tend to think its the ecu being tuned for 100ron fuel. Can anyone shed some light on this. Thank you to all that reply.

  13. I think i figured it out. One of the wires is for the ignition beep and the other one is for the beep when you put it in reverse (i got an auto)

  16. Hi everyone, I woke up yesturday morning and found 2 wires hanging down near my pedal. One of them is white and the other is black. They both seperate from another group of wires. I have no idea what they are for. It looks like the electrical tape has been wound off and the wires cut. I've also noticed that when i leave the key in the ignition it doesn't beep anymore. Can anyone please tell me what the wires are for? I'm starting to get worried. Thank you

  18. I notice something similar on my series 1.5. Sometimes when i start it up i can hear a sound from behind the steering wheel. It sounds like an electronic motor of some kind switching on and off. It also does it when its idling after driving sometimes. I have a standard steering wheel. What could this be?
  19. Sorry for the late reply fellas, had no internet connection for a week. My problem is mostly gone. I got the plugs regapped and the problem seems to have disappeared. I was told that the the irridium plugs are very fidgity and that the NGK coppers are just as good. Boost now holds steady at 10 psi. However on full throttle my car seems to have a huge flat spot up until 6000rpm where all of a sudden it has more urge. Its a more rush of power out of nowhere. Can anyone explain to me what is causing this? Thank you to all replies
  20. Getting A/F ratio chart on monday. Will post up when i have it. Can't afford a power FC at the moment. I'm not looking at going over 190rwkws with the basic mods (turbo back, cat, Intercooler) Just want good street power.
  21. Checked my coilpacks and they seem to be fine, no cracks etc. My plugs are NGK iridiums which are only about 6000kms old. The air filters seems to be fine, its basically new, don't know about the fuel filter though. I haven't changed it since i bought the car 20,000kms ago but it was apparently changed before i purchased it. Gonna look at A/F ratio on monday. Could driving my car around temporary in this state potentially harm my engine? Also can ignition timing be cause of this problem? Does it have to be retarded or advanced when running more boost? Thanks all
  22. Sorry for the late reply. I run my car on Bp ultimate. Seems to run better than any other fuel. So getting an SAFC should rectify this problem? Thanks
  23. So it has nothing to do with the plugs? How much am i looking at for a new fuel pump?
