  1. personally i like RTS so consoles haven't swayed me away from the trusty pc. and i like the racing sims and there are no good sims on console so pc all the way for me.
  2. at the moment i'm not really sure on my budget ect. to explain it more, I have worked for John Bowe and have bneen mates with him for the past 4 years. I have been stuck in a low paying, abusive job for the same amount of time (met him through work as i work in a ford dealership) he has helped out on my resume and is even a referee for me. Currently i also work for 3 companies unpaid and can work up to 18hrs a day. I have been applying for jobs for around 12 months and not even getting any interviews, which i find odd as i am applying for everything including general retail work. he has now said to me that i need to get out of adelaide and move to melbourne if i want a job as he has contacts in the motor / motorsport industry over there. i am still undecided on whether i want to move ( i really like melbourne) but as its my best opportunity to get a job and life i am strongly considering it. i am still waiting to hear more about the work he has proposed before 100% confirming a move
  3. i know a couple of the guys working on it its still early wip
  4. Hey guys atm i am sorting through a few things and may end up moving to Melbourne, I will have a job just not sure what yet. I am more concerned about the living costs over there i am 22 and still live at home and don't get it easy but a lot easier than living on my own. I don't have much money hence the possible move and will have to set my self up from scratch (one of the things holding me back) what are some good areas to look at for reasonable priced (rental) apartments / flats closeish to the CBD? I don't know anyone in Melbourne so any help will be appreciated cheers
  5. and DJR are sharing data with PCR as they are running identical packages
  6. imagine what they would have done if ford won
  7. WPS have nothing to do with FORD anymore. ford refuse to sponsor the team so i cant imagine he would be doing anything to help them out
  8. i would like to know if mine has been wound back( it wouldn't surprise me) after everything i was told was replaced that i am now paying to get fixed but really it doesn't worry me, any car can be wound back thats part of the gamble in purchasing a used car
  9. he has also retired from the carrera cup
  10. holy *^%& cubes i bought mine back in oct 05 it had 123k on it it only now has 130k and its my daily driver it helps living 10mins from work
  11. spent some time down in the PCR garage over the last few days and its interesting to hear about the 888 chassis. the DJR engineers where in there speaking to JB's head engineer and were saying that 888 don't run any cool suits or venting in the cars!!!!! both DJR and PCR had to make modifications to fit the cooling systems in
  12. Wincup was very fast at the end of the race today, will be good to see what he can do tomorrow
  13. hmmmm unfortunately my camera ran out of batteries before i managed to find some "talent" so i only have about 10 pics of the GT's Heres a quick vid of the awesome lambo thats kindly joined the GT series. 17. LOOK what landed in Adelaide monday. The car was air lifted from Reiter Engineering in Germany to be ready for the event. Had a test session at mallala on tuesday. sounds cross between a viper and a champ car will sound great echoing through the cement walls
  18. i like the honda livery. Its done its job people are talking about it. and i have a feeling it will be mention constantly across the melbourne GP telecast
  19. that car was owned by Paul Morris and driven by Jose Fernandez from memory
  20. cheers luke after looking at that i really need a series one grill that will fit in under the bonnet better
  21. nice (happy now i've posted) i haven't been to a F1 race since they left Adelaide. I was planning on catching up with a mate who works at McLaren but he was sent to Bahrain for Testing instead of the Melbourne round. So maybe next year
  22. bit of a horrible start to the year with only 7 cars involved. there are roughly 10 - 16 cars that aren't there this weekend due to Clipsal preparation and an endurance race at EC. calder is expecting much higher grid sizes
  23. will have to check the finances after the clipsal (usually an expensive week end )
  24. I was sent this at work yesterday. Its a restaurant in Germany. "This all for very affordable prices.Every table has rolls of al-foil, ready to be used. Those that have to use the al-foil are considered cowards.Drinks are, unless otheriwse ordered, served in 2-litre glasses and their bestseller is “Der Bembel des Todes” a 5-litre glass filled with Bacardi-Cola for only 35 Euro." and you thought the Ale house had big schnitzels
  25. its ok we don't bite (unless you steal andrews seats )
