LOL another thread about this, in the last thread there was a lot of discussion on what games ect but nothing ever happened I'd be keen, naturally depending on date ect may even have some new stuff to try (who likes racing games?) Might want to mention the only games i have installed are GTR2, Rfactor, Medieval 2 Total War but i'll install anything

Good to hear you are making some progress on the car, looks like there were a few more cars than last year on track. if it was the Red 430 it was Millers, not a bad effort as it looked pretty bad the weekend before. I will have to speak to Wayne and find out how their race went. Not sure why he didn't drive one of his cars (probably not fixed yet after 200Kph crash at winton)

still haven't got into any torrent programs. i tried one and it wouldn't work so i gave up. and i don't get time to play games every now and again i will have a race of GTR2 or RF but thats about all these days. still waiting for this elusive SAU LAN that has been bought up a few times but never got passed talking about peoples houses and what they can fit in

it really depends on the workshop and their hourly rate, I use a private guy who has a race workshop down south and pay around $45per Hour but some paces charge up around the 90 - 100 per hour. Best ringing around and getting some quotes from some workshops. I got a quote to fix my Exhaust manifold studs from Adelaide Turbo Services on South Road they were quite a bit cheaper than anyone else.

LOL how long are you planning this taking? I went out to see how Andrew was going with fitting the new turbo and ended up staying there 2 days to get it done. (there were a few other things added aswell) haha i've done 1 so as you can see i'm an expert

yeah i love the ADSL2, there is no way in hell i'm ever going back to anything with slower uploads and down loads. For work i can use over 20Gb a month downloading all the software, 3dmax, latest photoshop, illustrator ect (company account FTW )as well as uploading and downloading all the files ect and VOIP for 4-6 hours a night really starts to add up.

the problem is this doesn't stop idiots from driving. there was a thing on the radio about a guy down at Christies being caught for drink driving for the 17th time, and he was driving with out a license. There really is no way to keep idiots off the road, short of locking them up, and i don't want to pay more taxes to keep em in the slammer

yeah the store has a "7 day bright dead pixel DOA replacement warranty" i had 45 minutes to kill before the shop opened and i actually though about your shop fishpaste but couldn't remember the name, walked around the CBD looking at PC store name trying to figure out if any where familiar (and i would look stupid walking into all the PC stores asking for fishpaste )

woohoo finally got myself a nice 22" acer toady (cheap YAY) so when i get some spare timer look out dual screens

Richard, Wayne owns a boat company and make all his own carbon fibre panels so that helps keep the bill down, It ended up tearing the right rear wheel and suspension out of the car. Then again he also has a spare one for parts. phunky there should be another 3-4 of those GT2R's out here soon aswell, Belgium is having a clearance sale as they have now been banned there and this is one of the last places for them to race If you go to any of the other Vic rounds let me know as i may be at them with the Guys.

wow thats not nice, Hope the driver is ok. My mate had an accident there at the AMRS round last month and did a huge amount of damage to his 996GT2R ($20,000) and the Maserati involved had around $50,000 I can't believe how far that has moved that cement block!!

at least channel 10 only had the Saturday race on at 10pm http://au.sports.yahoo.com/v8-supercars/tv/ have a look at the times the v8's are being shown in Adelaide many of the rounds are being delayed around AFL, winton had a 1/2 hour high light package for the 2 races on Sunday and was shown at 10.30pm. This happened becasue channel 7 has teh rights / has to show 1 game more than what is shown on foxtel, however it only needs to be in 1 area. So on Sunday the collingwood, westernbull dog game was shown here in SA instead of the V8's not to mention the issue over in NZ cutting the race short so they could televise the podium (apparently we prefer to watch the drivers spray champagne than race!!!) and its now just VESA, the "Australian" was dropped as they now race overseas. (and may have had something to do with legal proceeding against AVESCO for fraud but that a different issue) think thats enough of a rant

I completely agree with you roy. i can say that at the end of the year when JB has retired i will stop supporting and watching the series. The V8 category is starting to show some big holes in its previously been able to hide, **cough being sued by chinese government **cough i'm really enjoying watching SBS and seeing all the "smaller" categories actually race each other. But then again I am biased toward the Sportscar / GT categories due to working and knowing alot of the teams and drivers there are a few rumors that the 2L may try and return in 2009, as thats where the current market is growing and flourishing, not in the bigger sedans
