and that they are using a 2nd V8 category to support them. more than 50% of everyday at the clipsall there are V8's out on track. I really only watched the main series and the GT's i even found my self going as nonstop V8taxis were just so boring on the thursday and friday. Especially as the top 10 shoot out has been canceled.

it doesnt help that there are now 3 different production car series. the GTP - V8 Support Series APCC - Shannons National Series Production Touring - AMRS

its getting to a stage where 1 million is not enough. BJR run a budget for around 1million (at least they did in 05 - 06 when i involved with them through JB) Prodrive have a budget of around 1 million set a side just for preparation ect for the bathurst 1000. Due to all the rising prices they are now starting to loose support teams aswell. Look at the GTP in previous years there have been up to 25+ cars out there. Now they have had to join the kuhmo lotus series with the GTP to try and get 15 cars. The Carrera Cup series is loosing cars and teams aswell. We also have the manufacturers starting to pull funding from the teams now as the local market has shifted into smaller cars. Ford and holden have both posted losses in the hundreds of millions this financial year, and as there is no longer a "win on sunday sell on monday" mentality as they AREN'T falcon and commodores racing. Its more important to the manufacturer put the money where it is most likely to MAKE money

don't be sorry more people need to be saying it. whats worse is that the "real" motorsport enthusiasts are and no one is listening as long as they are making money. so much so the VESA is about to sell the Romano franchise. The series organizers have taken control of the franchise after the court battle between Team Dynamik and Romano. what i'm hearing suggests $850K for the licence which will NOT have a guaranteed grid spot at all the events. Which seems wierd as they are stuggling to keep the teams they have at the moment with TKR in HUGE financial troubles and DJR starting to slip under again slowly. they really need to wake up and FIRE tony and get someone that isn't able to be bribed (ooops i didn't say that did i ) and know what they are doing. at the end of the year when JB retires i will stop watching the V8's even then i have only seen the Clipsal and 1 or 2 other races this year. Then again I am biased towards the GT side of motorsport

OK to clear up the 88 brake issue The Brakes fitted are a different spec used for the Media days when the car is hauling another 100Kg's+ of passanger the #2 Mechanic fitted them by mistake to Jamies car, In the rush between races replaced them with the wrong set, hence they were only on the rear of the car from what i'm hearing he is now looking for a new job as he has been replaced for the screw up unfortunately not, the reports were all incorrect. Which is good as he is leading V8 Supercars to the Noose. Just what Australian Motorsport needs to shake it up and allow it to rebuild ( I hope your happy i had to go on the V8SuperTaxi web site to get that )

yeah i heard that today, he was third at the time. Gotto say I'm liking Super Aguri at the moment, got some good young drivers and seem to have some speed compared to most of the teams out there

Its a great car its usually bullet proof, and runs up near the front. Last I saw they had lost 13 laps about 7-8 hours back whilst in the pits

yeah I've been watchin on and off all day, pitty the Falken GTR had troubles was running nicely in the top 10

We have the top focus at the moment. the RS hasn't come out in the new model focus yet. May have to wait longer as a new model focus comes out here next month. early rumors has a 220Kw 2L AWD for the next RS model

ok now it doesn't crash when i first open the game it crashed 10 mins in to it

i did another restart again after the installation and it all seems to work fine now

ASUS P5GD1 P4 3.2 Ghz 1.5Gb DDR RAM 512 GeForce 7950GT DDR3 It has been working fine for 3-4 months now with out any issues, I went to a LAN a few weeks back and it started the day after that. I have done a full Virus scan and come up with nothing. The new drivers allow me to start and run the game now its just running a lot slower than last time. And i finally got a copy of BF2 last night

this has only made my PC go slow while doing everything, even opening a folder on the desktop it now has to sit and think it over for 10 - 15 seconds is GRAW2 out now???? I have been waiting for it and didn't see it yesterday at the shops

HELP!!!! I am having some serious issues with my PC when i run a graphics heavy game, I played Supreme Commander a few weeks back at a LAN and it worked fine, At the LAN i had to turn off my firewall and since then when ever I have tried to play anything that has high graphical requirements my PC shits it self and shuts down. At the moment it only happens in Supreme Commander and Call of Jaurez I'm going to try and DL the latest Direct X and see if that helps, any other ideas on what could be going wrong or how to fix it????
