  4. Did anyone happen to hear what Matt got for his Mirage (purple 1.8L turbo on the GSR/EVO club display)?? I know he won a few awards but has gone on holidays so i haven't seen him at work The guy who won Best 300C started some shit up with the boys from work and wanted to go out and "waste them" on the street in his stock 5.7 compared to the 6.1 we entered.

  6. will be good to come down for a look. I'm sure you won't be short on people volunteering to take you car down Matt
  7. With Gold Wheels? i was standing on Aylifes road when i heard a really nice exhaust note, I looked up saw an Integra and thought WTF???? then about 10M behind was a Wine Red 32 GTR. Pretty sure it is Martins mates
  8. Sorry not getting back to you , at the time i didn't have the entry fees. I know they can vary for us due to the higher track time ect. If anyone is interested please let me know ASAP as entries are closing in the next few days This round is really shaping up to be a the best one this year, so if you aren't competing and want to see some great racing head out to Winton (I'm just PISSED i won't be making it over there for the round)
  9. http://www.autosport.com/news/report.php/id/61511 looks like overtaking may become more regular in the races. It could make the racing more interesting, at least towards the end of the pack. I got an email from my mate who works in McLraen, apparently Ron is on the war path with everyone at the moment. Got a few nice High Res pics of the cars aswell
  10. will be heading down when i can find some spare cash
  11. Looks like it will be a great season -- look out Melbourne we want some 6-0 revenge
  12. ok, the salons are always a good series to be involved with, most of the guys are great. Thankfully my mates run a few Porsches between them so there is always work to be done, and when they aren't racing they are the ones running the series so they have said they would like some help to do paperwork, tyre allocation ect. But as you would know time and money aren't the easiest things to arrange. Especially money -- i have had my car for nearly 3 years now and its still stock !!!! Winton should be a good weekend for us at the IM series. 1 hour race a heap of competitors lined up. Including Teddys 360NGT, John's Aston martin, Ac Cobras, the Maserati Grandsports and the usual gaggle of Porsches. Hoping to have a 34GTR and a few Vipers up fighting with the Euro stuff aswell.
  13. would you when your jnr team mate has that smug look on his face??
  14. I'm slowly getting more involved with the Intermarque boys both the series and a few of the teams. However the bank balance doesn't help with all the rounds on the Eastern Seaboard. So more than likely out at Mallala instead and
  15. thats the same weekend as the AMRS round at Winton, So i may be interstate. Otherwise i will try and get out there
  16. spotted RSFOUR at marion this morning and Skippy on sturt rd. When are you going to bring that sexy lil chaser out to a SAU meet skippy???
  17. spotted a nice dark grey stagea with dark rims at the Hub shops today. Also a black 33 with P's in the car park aswell
  18. congrats to everyone, good to hear SAU and our members do so well. Would have like to have gone down but i have been stuck at home with the flu
  19. aww come one isn't that the point of autosalon?? plastic everything ( well going by the cars on the news it is) pitty it would have been good to see a real f1 on a dyno run 900bhp at 19000RPM :)
  20. wooohoooooo GO REDS another preseason cup to add to the trophy cabinet!!!!
  21. AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA sinista thats gold pauly thats a replica?? the only genuine Ferrari F1(1999) that i know of is sitting in a warehouse down in Melbourne. And i can't see Mr Algadri associating with the Autosalon crowd
  22. not sure if that had already been posted, couldn't see it in the last few pages
  23. no offence but....... have fun
  24. i think thats half of my problem. The fact that they glorify him scoring a 9th place ect just seems to highlight the lack of results that he's getting. RBR still looks like it is a few years away from consistent podium abilities. and if Webber can make it work for him it will be interesting. Especially as he will more than likely be getting a new team mate in the near future. Hopefully it is someone he can get to work with him to get the cars to a level where they are able to get him a string of good positions.
  25. I'm just not sure about him, Yes he has had some good qualifying results and the odd podium, but his cars tend to break down more than his team mates - and its always the cars fault, i can understand if it is most of the time. However his continuing complaining in the media about how the car is always at fault will make him a liability for the larger teams. Do you think McLaren want a driver that will get a DNF and every time stand up and say that the car failed him?? and when he does finish it is rarely in the points If he can get a solid year with constant points then i may change my opinion. If anyone i would like to see Heidfeld in the McLaren. He has come a long way in the past few years at BMW. But both Alonso and Lewis are contracted for a few more years to come
