Servos don't get told shit... They don't even have scheduled refills... When it's empty, a tanker comes whenever possible...

Yeah I can't explain why anyone but Shell is out... I got optimax fine, though I had to go to 2 servos to get it...

See now if you have ever met me and seen my car you would know that I DON'T have an SAFC I don't have shit... I had planned to skip all that and buy a new ECU outright... this plan started at the dawn of Apexi cancelling their PFCs... and then the prices went up... The SAFC tricks the ECU to change the fuel and airflow mix like Nath said... It won't make a massive massive difference, but it would be best to stick with what it was tuned in, cause it was custom tuned for that type of fuel... I've come to realise that V Power Racing burns REALLY fast too... I was pretty much at 100kms before this optishit started dropping off full... I'll check when I go home, cause that's pretty nuts...

Mine has a standard ECU... and for those with aftermarket, yes it is normally better obviously...

EXACTLY the same story as me, except I only went to one Shell and then investigated the problem... Optishit feels laggy and less responsive... I want my v power racing back

The local servo people don't get told shit... they don't even know when the trucks will turn up... they just say they are empty or close to empty and the petrol company sends a truck out... it's pathetic... And Jon, V power racing is the best fuel I have used yet

Yeah we're farked... The refinery that shell uses to produce most of it's v-power is out... it randomly failed, and now they have pushed ahead a scheduled maintenance period for it (lasts about a month)... Shell did say they were going to import V power from Thailand or somewhere though... BP optishit should be fine though... Dunno what's up there...

Mine is pharken! And I figured it out on a skidpad... it sorta flops around, it's not even perfectly centered... And it's bulky... if it didn't have a life saving feature, I would have buggered it off ages ago...

LOL @ Blitz Yeah I'm going to take it apart tonight if I can... It may just be a matter of screwing stuff back in... but not having a horn is starting to shit me, I never realised how often I use it... I have gone to wave at other skylines and stupidly punched my window cause it's up... Plus, the stock steering wheel isn't centre balanced any way, it's unevenly weighted... which does annoy me...

Sadly I know this... But mine is physically broken, and I can't exactly afford another one right now, not to mention I don't think you can buy them new from anywhere... only 2nd hand... Don't spose you would know where I can get an aftermarket airbag one, or even a new factory replacement for only 1 leg?

My airbag steering wheel is f**ked, it sets the horn off at random times... So either I live without a horn, run the risk of a small in-cabin fire and live with that rattleing noise and due to a near crash the other day in the wet, f**k THAT, or I change the steering wheel... I've had that car for over 3 years, and the steering wheel was the last thing I wanted to change... Even though the only experience I have ever had with and air bag was being in a crash, my head stopping before it hit anything, then the airbag exploding onto my face... heaps o' fun...
