Its good to see another dyno in Canberra, Still will be using Unigroup Sydney as although ESP have the numbers on the board so far they have yet to build an engine themselves so will wait and see how they go before switching.

Good result, Is pretty much normal for something like that, I think my first gtr with the same mods and cam gears made about 230kw so is pretty reasonable. I do agree with leech though, the afrs are a little rich still and should be at 12.0 to 1 to get the best result. 12.4 12.5 will get you your best power but leaves it a bit on the edge for street driving. Ed does like to leave them on the safe side though.

If you are going the 2.4 then make sure it is the efi version as the carby ones are woeful on power and fuel. With it being full chassis you can pretty much put anything in legally. So work out what it is going to be used for and use the appropriate engine. EG Small cube not good for towing but good on fuel bigger cube good on towing but worse on fuel. You can buy a kit to fit the holden V6 into most utes and they are cheap as no one wants them for anything but a work ute. The 2.4 Navara engine should also fit quite easy and as long as its injected as in the KA24 and not the Z24 then it should be quite torquey aswell.

Congrats on the purchase. As for the brakes you can run a 324 mm disc on the front with the standard sumitomo callipers, all you need to buy is the adaptor from UAS for around $170 and the last set of discs i bought in dba were $400 the pair. As for injectors you can buy 1000cc for 110 an injector from Rocket industries so i think $1700 is a bit dear for anything smaller. As for turbos you can buy the 2530's or t517's for around $4000 and they are a much better suited turbo as have had a lot of development done for the gtr. As for the 2200 to fit them it seems very steep but just make sure that this doesn't include upgrading the other systems needed to run bigger turbo's Eg fuel pump,injectors,computer,oil and coolant lines and tune. Which if it does then go for it. Good luck with it all

has anyone got an r33 air flow meter and external igniter coil packs they can lend me for about an hour or so. Congrats ,So many comparisons to Skylines, They keep you awake worrying and cost you lots of money. But one good difference is your partner won't mind you spending all your spare time or money on them

Sounds nice, Now don,t let the list below turn you off it as it looks like a lot but it isn't too bad. First off is it in ACT and if so it gives you some bargaining power with the sales guy as it will need an engineers report to be done to make it legal. If you want to keep the coil overs you will need to see an engineer to see if they will pass it now for ACT rego as they have changed the rules. Prices are about right for a good tune this is what you will pay. If you want to buy a standard 32gtr it will cost 15000 upwards for a rough one and way more than 20000 in parts let alone labor so 35000 for this many mods is ok. The T04Z 's are not to bad and are very comparable in lag to a 2530 setup when tuned properly.See if the head gasket is a 51thou or 80thou thickness one as if it is the thicker one your comp will be down slightly and hence hinder turbo spool time. I would expect to see between 350 and 400kw at the wheels with this style turbo As for wheel size you are only allowed 1inch over the largest fitment wheel for your model as 17's were the largest, you can only legally fit 18inch. But see an engineer and he may be able to get them past. Engineers report for all mods will be about 700 to 800. Make sure the car has rear centre stop light, rear child seat anchors x2, side intrusion bars and is under 91decibels for noise otherwise you will have to pay someone to do it for you. I carried out all this work myself and can give you tips if you need. As for the wheel sticking out further make sure that there is no panel damage,suspension damage or for something as stupid as a wheel spacer on one side Brembos were only standard fitment on 32 vspec2 and all previous models all early 32s had sumitomo brakes If you want a vehicle check with comp and leak down test i charge about $200 which gives me about 4hrs to do it or for just a normal look it is about $50 which is usually all you need Hope this helps and if you need to ask any more questions either email me or ring on 0422214621 and i can run you through it

The only way to really tell is to use either a knock meter like snap on or some of the Jap ones like TOMEI. Each engine is going to register different knock readings dependent on numerous factors EG: Forged piston or standard, bearing clearances etc. I had one car that had twin screamers and one was slightly touching the engine and would register obscene readings. I have also heard that some of the older fc's had some issues with knock readings so if unsure get it double checked as $100 of labor is well worth it compared to a engine rebuild

These kits look excellant and Greg has spent a lot of time making these to ensure they are a perfect fit, unlike a lot of the other kits. For $900 you get all the fasteners, pickup, oil drain T and templates to machine the block or Greg can do the work for you. Have used both ferodo and greens and found the ferodo's to be quite good. They do a 3000 ferodo that only certain dealers have so see if you can source some of them

I am relisting my power fc djetro with handset to suit r32 gtr and hks twin power module due to a non payer. The djetro is only about 12 mths old and the hks is brand new. Power fc comes with all wiring and instructions aswell as 3bar map sensors and a 6mth handset for $1200 posted and the hks comes with all connections and patch loom to suit gtr for $700posted Please either pm or ring on 0422214621

Can anyone help with start off settings for r32 gtr wheel alignment settings and hks shock settings. I know it is probably very secretive but only want basic settings.

Due to upgrading to a Autronic i am selling my D Jetro power fc, including 3 bar map sensors and a year old handset. The system is in very good working order and also comes with a brand new HKS Twin power module with patch loom and a blitz dual sbc boost controller this boost controller is currently holding 30psi with no fluctuations and is capable of holding 40psi. System is currently on a 727hp setup and is only being sold to upgrade as i am modifying further.
