Nissan Pulsar N12 or N13. I picked up my 1990 Nissan Pulsar Hatch for $3K cash over 2 years ago now to use a A-B daily runabout. Was it excellent condition inside and out with approx 100K km's on the clock. *touch wood* it has not missed a beat!! Just had to replace the dizzi, handbrake cable, thats it. Just general low cost wear n tear items which I do all myself. These cars a reknown to just keep on going and going with little problems! Meh my 2c

To be safe - Get the firewall welded up but will be a few hundred $$$$ As for braces...NFI havent heard of anything. A mate just put his foot thru the firewall becuase of this exact reason...literally installed the heavier clutch, drove around for 10 mins then BANG....

Battery on the way out???? Alternator not charging battery.... not to sure but considering your lights are dimming.... Maybe a bad 'earth' somewhere.... my 2c

*UPDATE 08/05/06* Pit stopped @ the workshop on the weekend to pick up the RB20 / Gearbox and see my baby Should be done in a few weeks time WOOT It is 100% confirmed, engine is WGN34 Stagea RWD. Just awaiting a couple of things such as, driveshaft modified for the 33 gearbox, power steering pump etc. Engine should be getting turned over in the next couple of days! As for price (Basketcase) approx $4000 for engine (22K Km's), gearbox, coilpacks, full loom, AFM, ECU, delivered. Wasn't fussed paying a little extra considering the very low legit km's. Ando

Seriously I reakon the R33 GTR Midnight Purple looks great if your after the VIP look, also would look good with a URAS kit. You need a dark colour with chromies! That would be my suggestion!! Ando

Also interested in the brake setup front brakes, 4 pot , good condition with lines and rotors and calipers , pads averidge $ 300 rear brakes , black with nissan on them $ 150 brake booster and master cyl, $ 100 Just need to confirm if I am doing a 4 to 5 stud conversion, do i need the brake booster & master cylinder? Also what dimensions are the front and rear rotors? Front (296mmx30mm) and Rear (297mmx18mm) ????? Cheers

Yeah true true Richo, just also got to factor in cost of 5 stud conversion + spare set of 5 stud rims + decent 'track tyres' + track day costs. So its another biggish cost just after spending some decent dollars on the old girl. I will get there eventually, just the wallet has been slapped around like Paul's arse during a driver's briefing........ Now that was funny!!!!
