  5. For anyone that needs to know I got my answer so FYI i have been told: "Pineapple bushes are meant to have a split in them for the uppers, and you will be correct the other one will be facing away from you" Thanks Anyways
  6. Yeah not sure if there split from factory. I compared it to the one installed on the right hand side of the car and there was no split and seemed a bit 'tighter'. Unless the split is facing the front of the car so I can't see it? In any case i've email the place where it was installed so i'll see what they say. Cheers!
  7. Hi Guys, Last month I got a reputable workshop to install pineapples for me. Everything was fine, just tonight while I was taking off the wheels to lower the car i noticed that one of the pineapples is split. I have attached a picture. I just have a few questions: 1. Is this normal? Is it fine to leave like that? Is it doing any damage to the car if I leave it like that for a while? 2. Is it my bad luck that it is split? Or can i get say Whiteline suspension to replace/refund? Or does it mean it was not installed properly and the workshop may replace it for me? Appreciate any comments!
  8. Any updates on progress or updates with high quality pics? Especially the wheels ?
  9. Don't think the fuel pump should change anything? Its interesting comparing our dyno graphs, but as Trent said 'Every car is different'. Your car seems to make more power earlier on [~110rwkw at 3K rpm v mine at about ~95K at 3K rpm]. Also interesting is how our torque graph is also quite different. Yours makes more earlier and mine makes more later.
  10. From what a I remember apparently they did another run where the Veyron comfortably beat the GTR.. Video should be somewhere on the net.
  11. Hey when you get your wheels done put some pics up, im curious to see how they turn out
  12. Thanks for the info
  13. Has anyone tried e85 on a stock turbo? Are there much gains to be had if you had all the supporting mods to run e85? Cheers!
  14. Also please note that the money spent on modifications includes other items not just amounts spent on engine. I.e. tyres and suspension, clutch upgrades etc..
  15. Some of the track laps where done in the wet, doesnt specify which ones where done in the dry and which ones where in the wet so I guess its not much of a comparison
  16. Hey Jin nice meeting you Saturday at Status and nice car
  17. I'll have a proper read when i get home from work to see if any of them were wet times..
  18. Sorry typo. yes you are correct fwkw There is no control tyre every car is different. i.e. APR Golf R - Hankook Ventus APR Golf Gti - Hankook Ventus TMR Evo X - Dunlop Direzza 03G MRT STI - Bridgstone Re55S MRT EVO X- Bridgstone Re55S Also FYI 1/4 mile times: APR Golf R - 13.28 secs APR Golf Gti - 13.72secs TMR Evo X - 13.37secs MRT STI - 12.33secs MRT EVO X- 13.06 secs
  19. Has anyone read the new Motor Magazine Hot Tuner battle? I'm actually quite surprised that the VW Golf Cars were quick around the track then the Evo's/Sti's.. Eastern Creek - Warren Luff APR Golf R - 1min 59sec [$34,100 in modifications] - 230awkw APR Golf Gti - 2min 0.06 sec [$24,395 in modifications] - 217 awkw TMR Evo X - 2min 2sec [$12,451 in modifications] - 196 awkw MRT STI - 2min 3.04sec [$49,528 in modifications] - 271 awkw MRT EVO X- 2min 6.04sec [$22,687 in modifications] - 226awkw There are alot of other cars in there and appears to be quite an interesting read. Just woulda thought the Evo's/Sti's would have spanked the Golf cars around a track...
  20. Mods: Turbo back exhaust Turbosmart manual boost controller Hybrid Intercooler Nistune Ecu
  21. Got my car Nistuned at Status today. Trent and Kat are a great bunch of people and very friendly! Mods: Turbo-back exhaust Hybrid Intercooler Walbro Fuel pump Before: 190rwkw [Had extra timing in there] After: 202 rwkw Car now has much more power mid and top range. Attached is the dyno graph so hopefully it works. Will also post this in the RB25 Dyno thread. Thanks again to Trent & Kat!
  22. Jeez that's alot of work! How long does it take you to do a set of plugs for the GTT? I need to attempt this myself one day via the tutorials on here
