  1. Awesome! I didn't realise you were that quick! I remember timing you a while back and you were doing 7's I think. Good to see you improve by that much!
  2. Was a good day, I hate being a spectator though!
  3. It was only 1 tyre mate. Try Jet couriers, your best bet from Launceston > Hobart. 1300 368 834
  4. There was a debate about GT35's in either .82 and 1.06 sizes and which ones are better for drivability/traction etc on the race track. Most people said the .82 ones came on too strong and caused wheel spin where as the 1.06 could be controlled with the throttle. So how can twins which are far more reponsive, be better for traction?! I thought they would wheel spin too much.
  5. There is a difference. I rang Ross and spoke to them about their Tuffbond balancers and they told me the differences between RB20,25,26,30. But I cant remember sorry!
  6. I got told by a Bendix guy at the Melbourne AAAA trade show last week the SRT were approx $250 and Race $300.
  7. I had a stock R32 RB20DET engine but with 3" exhaust, small front mount and EMS computer and on 12 psi it made 163rwKw, tuned by JPC. The stock injectors will just reach 220rwKw with an adj regulator and im sure the AFM will just cope with that sort of power too. What was the AFR and ignition timing?!
  8. These kits only include piston seals and dust seals. Front rebuild kits: Protex 210E0011 $35ea (trade) Rear kits: Protex 210E0103 $ 30ea They were single caliper kits (so 2 of each needed) These fit all Nissan front 4 spots (excl Brembo and some R34?) and rear 2 spot calipers. WRX also. ABS told me SJ6070 were to do both sides (not 100% sure about this though) I previously ordered SJ6024 (Japanese TRW/Lucas) and they were single caliper kits.
  9. http://www.mwignitions.com http://www.mwignitions.com/pdf/mw8.pdf http://wolfems.cart.net.au/cat/6165.html $263/pr from Wolf for Mercury coils!
  10. He says he has a R32 Cubes! I think he was thinking about using a Cefiro crossmember to see if it lowers the engine.
  11. I agree, it is a bit of a pain and contains some doubled up info etc but it is getting cleaned up well. I'm glad I made myself read it all and made notes on what parts / specs people use and noted the page numbers. You only have to read it once then keep up to date with it every few days.
  12. I chose EMS. Ive had a dual sport for 5 years and its been great- very reliable. We fitted a top of the range EMS 8860 to a mates VLT and it has been great too, awesome features for the price. Auto tune, heaps of outputs etc. If I could afford it I would have a Motec though.
  13. You should be able to use 6 Mercury CDI coils Rob, but you will need a CDI.
  14. If in doubt just do it. They're meant to be changed at 100,000kms. Replace the idler and tensioner bearings too and possibly the seals and water pump while you're at it. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...howtopic=137554
  15. Just look around on the forum and take not what others use, then do a Google for prices. Look in the traders for sale section and see what specials they offer. Pistons avg $1300, Rods $800 and about an extra $3000 to do it properly......
  16. 8. 6x New 550cc rx7 injectors $250 What brand are these?!? Please email me pics- [email protected]
  17. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...=oil+restrictor All you need to know about oil restrictors in in this thread ^^^^
  18. Haha yeah! They look good on it I think, colour really suits. They still look small on it though.... Thanks again for them Josh!
  19. Ive found the Bridgestones to be the cheapest in 16" and possibly might be in other sizes too. They are also one of the most common tyres used down here. The local Bridgestone guy uses RE540s in Targa but uses RE55s on the track.
  20. Bloody nice work, cheers! I have coils being made but am keen on airbags and by looking at that will look cool as!
  21. Can someone have a go at this please, just drop a few inches out of it. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v478/VHR...a3ae28251db.jpg Cheers guys!
  22. He said it's multi-stud, so I presume it has 10 holes: 5x114.3 and 5x120 to suit most Jap and Commodore.
  23. If you want the pads to sit on the disc properly you will need to grind out the inside radius of the caliper or the pad will overhang. Like this: http://www.driftshop.com.au/twinvl/pics/modedcalliper2.jpg I'm not sure how they will go over 340mm discs, here is a pic of GTR calipers on 330x32mm discs, as you can see they sit out alot and they 'just' don't quite fit under 16" rims!
