So I noticed one of my headlights turns on and off by itself, sometimes over bumps in the road etc. I originally thought it might be a dodgy bulb or cabling but turns out it's this: View My Video That's with me pushing the whole socket that holds the bulb... Anyone fixed something like this before? Kinda keen to hear your thoughts before I go to the trouble of pulling apart my car to get to the headlight! Cheers

Hey mate maybe you can help me with this... I have a 9800BT decided to give your soltuion a go... I cut the blue and white striped wire, then powered up the unit. The antenna did not go up, but I had no audio at all (no menu beeps, no radio or cd player audio). I connected the blue / white striped wire again which restored audio. Perhaps I've got my blue/white wire wired up wrong? Anyone else have these symptoms?

which one? the wire to the head unit?

Hey mate nice thread. I'm hoping to do the same thing myself... but hopefully to an 07 model. Just be sure you know what you're getting into... like other's have stated, you could buy a gtr for that kind of money, but you won't end up with something that quick... I've decided on a Z as I wanted a good looking, modern luxury sports coupe... something that was relatively new with 2 doors, leather seats etc. but could still give me the same if not better driving pleasure I get from my R33 gtst... There seems to be quite a shortage of contenders with the above criteria... you either have hot hatches like the golf gti or r32 or your left with the RX-8, Monaro or the V35...

No worries! I received the info in an email from Nissan Australia, who will be presenting it. I'm guessing they will just have the car plopped in the middle somewhere with some rope around it... should be pretty cool
