  1. Hey Carl, i am really sorry about this, it is 100% my fault, the list i sent to magic had an error on it, and you were not included. I have sent a message to magic confirming that you did pay and they will send it out asap. It was a big mess of payments because lots of people did not included their name or could not include it in their transaction description which made it a but messy! Hope you get it soon sorry for the issue! -Arup
  2. when i had my stock fuel pump startup knock was never above about 5 or 10 i put in a bosch pump and now sometimes it will be around 40-50 i believe the bosch pump does not have a valve to keep the lines pressurised when the pump is not on, so after it primes if u wait a bit it may be a bit starved of fuel on startup causing the knock. i have tried a few things and noticed if i prime a couple of times and start it right away it starts perfect, however if i prime once, leave it a while then try and start it may not start at all.
  3. I got mine working again yesterday after a few months of putting off having a look at it. All i did was pull it off (4 bolts and one plug in the boot), it had some water in it, so let that drain out then cleaned up the contacts on the spade connectors, checked connections with multimeter, put it back on and to my surprise it works again!
  4. i was dissapointed with the veyron test. they did not show details of the car, like even the interior in detail, and they did not talk about how it handles apart from one comment afterwards (like an elise YEAH RIGHT!) all he was going on about is the POWER. also noticed there was not sort of backroads or good cornering shots, also no track test with the stig. basically i am pissed off because i was expecting a proper review, look at a review of any other major new car such as the one on the f430 and you can see that this one is lacking a lot. i figure maybe the manufacturer told them they were not allowed to do certain things with the car? (IE ANYTHING APART FROM BORING FREEWAY DRIVING!) Im surprised no one else mentioned this, didnt anyone else notice???????????
  5. i used to have it, you turn the centre allen key bolts clockwise to tighten anti clockwise to soften, i think there is about 16 settings but cant remember exactly.
  6. its slightly less than that, when the tacho shows 7000-7100 the powerfc shows 100-200rpm less
  7. No worries guys, happy you got the cats we should start our own environmental group soon!
  8. the hicas requires a speed input to work properly, as it hardens up at higher speeds (in r33s anyway) so the hicas does not know how fast you are going, or any other problems, it usually goes into its high speed mode which makes the steering heavy even at lower speeds.
  9. I went through there on sunday at around 4pm, only saw one white r34 though.
  10. pics sent, other pics available now for interested parties.
  11. read this thread http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...showtopic=79377 and http://members.dodo.com.au/paul/docs/power...powerfc-faq.htm
  12. lucky u saw this thread it reminded me that the 7th season has started already! I am downloading the episode 2-5 as we speak Good thing is you have a recorded version is you can skip through the stupid part of the show with news and a celebrity. re jeremy vs tiff, i reckon tiff is a better driver and i prefer his reviews, jeremy is just a wanker but funny sometimes You have to take the reviews with a large grain of salt sometimes especially when it comes to english cars.
  13. well by old i mean say more than 5 years old <_< New injectors are quieter, but wont be forever! I wouldnt worry about it, just make sure they are clean and they should be fine, they are all a bit noisy!
  14. The injectors are always noisy on every skyline i have heard, but on GTRs (especially older ones) the head does get a bit noisy, they dont have hydraulic lifters which when working properly are quiet, the head in a gtr will just be a bit noisy all the time with age
  15. ...
  16. Boost controller is sold pending payment.
  17. definetly not the clutch either. I would put money on it being a sticky lifter, especially since he changed the oil last week and with a different type
  18. Its not to do with that
  19. Good to hear, like you, i am also sceptical over whether a seat of pants difference could be felt, more like a few KW on the dyno. But from what you are saying it sounds good! Another guy also said their turbo definetly spools faster and exhaust got a bit louder so must mean more going through it Ill probably fit mine up next week
  20. saw heaps only one that stood out was a white r34 two door, in the national park this afternoon at around 4pm
  21. Never though of that, your right!
  22. PM sent to fatz, will get back to others tomorrow morning.
  23. i sent u a pm too it should be fine
  24. why the random pic Anyway just to reinforce the point, i drove only 200kms today, not much heavy braking and my (used to be clean) wheels are now literally covered in a filthy layer of bendix ultimates i wish i had a camera
