The legal thing to do is to take the plates off and cancel the rego, the problem is though the most valuable thing on those cars is the rego, its a lot easier to get a name transfer than to re register it, thats why doing it the way i suggested means you have more chance of selling the car and its out of your name.

Are you sure its off a 33? Looks a bit odd since it dosn't have the bits that run along each side of the boot to match the size of the 1/4 panels.

If you sell it with rego and plates but no rwc fill in the transfer papers and hand your copy into vic roads that day, after that any speeding fines or anything else the new owner does with the car goes to him/her, if you fill out the papers and keep your copy and dont hand it in you are still liable for any fines and any other incident the car gets into. If they ask about the plates just plead ignorant and say you didnt know you had to take them off. Also dont think your safe if it is out of rego, i left the plates on an old rx7 i sold, he just walked into the local vic roads and got a new rego label and paid the rego, only found out when i got a fine in the mail a few months later, i tried to cancel the rego and get a refund on the rego he paid but they would not do it till i had handed in the plates, in the end i put in transfer papers and then got an abusive phone call coz he got a letter in the mail telling him he had 28 days to get a rwc or they would suspend the rego.

The cam option will cost you $1000 no more to pay. The nos option will probably cost close to that (installed and tuned) plus how much for refills, and as life dictates, it will be empty when ever you really want to use it Can you send me that link as well, would like to have a look.

Seems like a few people here have this system and tuning with it now, at the end of the day how much would it cost to get the parts and have my rb25det tuned (im not a tuner and not real good with electronics so i am after someone to do the whole job) also how would this tune compare to using a PFC? I already have a PFC but have not installed it and had it tuned yet, if getting someone to tune the factory ecu (and that way keep it legal) is a cost effective and reliable option then i might sell my PFC and go with a nistune.

Thats about right, i have every ignition dvd but #1. Nice graph graph PM-R33. What models dont have vct, or do you have to remove it? Can someone explain to me why that use road speed on dyno sheets and not rpm, i went through the rb25 power thread and most seem to use road speed and not rpm.

Not trying to reinvent the wheel trust trying to get a turbo with best bang for buck with easiest fitting, was looking at a kkr but after doing some research i would rather spend a bit more and get something with a proven reputation (a good one). That sounds like what im looking for, aiming at 250rwkw for now, just want the bigger housing so its not all down low power, im guessing with a bit more boost and a god tune that should be hittng the 250 mark, would'nt mind going for a spin sometime. i live in frankston as well, iv'e got a black 33 with a gtr wing and sr-071 number plates.

the main thing i am looking for is a good power increase that is a straight bolt on with a .8 exhaust housing, by the look of it im better off just getting a hi flow with a .6 for now and getting a full setup later.

Funny you should mention that, got a pm off slide after i posted this thread, apparently they no longer sell garrett turbo's so i went looking for another option and found the garrett 2871R at tweak it http://www.tweakit.net/shop/product_info.p...ca9cb4763b25934 what sort of power could i expect from one of these, would like a .8 rear but they only seem to come with a .6

If i read your post right you are saying that in qld it is cheaper to get a gtst than a gts?? Im also guessing that the power to weight ratio laws are the same as in in vic and im pretty sure that in vic you can drive an R32 gtst on your p's. -
Have searched but all i can find is people using the hks gtrs which i believe are a fair bit different, the turbo i am asking about is here http://www.slidingperformance.com/catalog/...products_id=312 i have pm'd slide twice but they have not replied. My question is how much later will this boost compared to a standard r33 gtst turbo and will it be happy doing 15psi frequently and what sort of power would it make on 15psi. My mods are a 3" turbo back exhaust 3" hi flow cat power fc and will be adding bigger injectors and z32 afm when i put the turbo on.

You dont live near mitcham by any chance do you? Saw one getting around that area with a winnie the poo shade, most cops just have a black one in the back window to cover the lights on the parcel shelf.

Doing An Oil Change....how Should I Top It Up?

And make sure that the old oil filter seal isnt stuck on the engine when you change the filter, really makes a mess of your fire wall and leaves a hansell and gretel trail from your mates house where you did it all the way back to your house and then leaves the rest of the oil in a ig puddle on your drive way...... errrr .... so im told -

Exactly, when i first got the car it was on the stand on top of the dash where any low life scum can see it, where it is now you cant really see it when the windws are up, i do want a black one though and then it will blend in more.

I think you should give up now. Sell the 32 and buy a ford or commodore, But first.... take into account how much money you are going to lose when you sell it, then add in how much you would have to spend to make a falcodore handle as good as a 32 then add the price of getting decent power from a falcadore then weigh the difference between what you would spend getting a falcadore up to scratch and the money you have to spend on the 32, at worst your down a little bit and own a nice 32, but on the other hand you have a an extra $100 bucks in your pocket but no amount of money will change the fact that you will be driving a falcadore. Just my 2cents.

Once again not exactly hidden but not on display either, would be better with a black avc-r then it would blend in with the dash more.

sounds like your battery isnt charging, try swapping it for another one that you know is good and see if that fix's the problem. -
