  1. Thats actually wrong information, on its own the hks sticker is only good for 50hp, you need the apexi as well for 100hp
  2. Was thinking of another application as well, since one of the problems with airbox's is how restrictive they are once you start getting high up in the horsepower range, could you possibly run another pipe underneath the intake (assuming its a low mount and the pipe would be heading towards the ground) pipe, this would give extra flow and be hidden from unwanted eyes. Also if this is done on the first batch of upgrades of turbo and injectors would it allow you to keep the factory afm or would you still need to use a z32?
  3. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/ip...s.php%3Fcat%3D7 The manual in there is very detailed (491 pages just for the engine) it should get you through the job.
  4. I not long ago went back to an airbox with a free flowing panel filter, the only thing i noticed was a lack of intake noise, power is the same as before on 12psi. The flat spot and shudder problem would most likely be the wiring in your afm, when you removed it there is a good chance that either the plug now makes better contact than it did before and the wires inside moved back into place, mine was the opposite, once i changed back to the airbox the wires inside came apart and i had running problems.
  5. The next post is going to be "whats your best price"
  6. FFS you guys are picky, he is pretty much giving away a gtr front bumper to suit a gtst and you guys want pics and postage?? Having read the add it says drift spec, anyone who has seen a thrashed drift car would know that most likely it is ripped up, if your good with fibreglass this would probably suit you. At the end of the day bargains dont come easy so by now you should have atleast been on the phone if not gone round there to get it.
  7. if you really want one tht isnt plumbed back just run the plumb back line down to where it should go, i know on a 33 you cant see if its hooked up or not.
  8. But if your no good a reading a melways then you will get in less shyte with a gps than you will trying to figure out where you are going with a map. Just make sure you get a decent unit with up tp date maps and set it up right, i have found with tomtom that if you choose to go the most direct route its usually slower than if you choose to go the fastest.
  9. you can edit comments
  10. i am going to assume that since all these videos are from drift fest that its ok to put them in here and not in the youtube thread. couple of fords doing well lukes ceffy Some good ones here http://www.youtube.com/profile_videos?user=lukeo3&p=r last one for now
  11. If you buy a street directory get a melways, ubd are the most useless piece of junk ever made. But #1 get a gps, makes life a lot easier, take it from a truck driver who has had to use a street directory untill recently, but if you persist with the melways you too will be able to talk on the phone (handsfree of course) drive with one hand and hold the melways with the other.... aledgidly..........
  12. I owned one as well, had mates who had them as well are theres were not real reliable, on top of that the one i bought had been rebuilt by a company with a less than average reputation so i figured i would thrash the crap out if it to get my moneys worth before a rebuild, had if for 12 months, saw 10000rpm many times even took it to easter nats but no matter how hard i thrashed it the sucker wouldnt die, bought my skyline, within 3 months the turbo is screwed. Would still rather the skyline for reliabillity tho, in fact it was a choice between a s4/5 rx7 or the 33..... At the end of the day i know the owners of this car for the last 4 years and apart from general servicing it has never missed a beat.
  13. Found these aswell http://www.youtube.com/profile_videos?user=Inv3nt1on&p=r
  14. Or you could make it even easier and use this link http://www.youtube.com/profile_videos?p=r&...na31&page=1 im guessing anything added a week ago is from drift fest? Spewin i missed this, did you happen to see tv camera's there by any chance?

  18. dam, i was going to suggest that one of the belts were too tight, couldnt be more wrong.
  19. Has anyone found a way to do this permanantly, did mine for the first time the other day and they came up like new, the next day they had gone back to the way they were, every time i do it it lasts a bit a longer but never stays like new.
  20. If you do consider going the efi 302 and your in vic i have a complete nc fairlane in my back yard doing nothing.
  21. i looked into doing this many years ago and was told that brakes and suspension was the same for 6 or 8 But this isnt the place to be asking, there are plenty of ford forums with more accurate information.
  22. If anyone is interested in the avcr but wants the silver controller i will swap mine for the black
  23. haha, good call. Do you have any pics of the full car side on with these on?
  24. I own a 33 gtst, if i was looking at spending 25-30g i wouldnt even buy a nissan, i would go 2j supra. But out of all the skylines the 33 is my pick of the bunch.
