The main problem with radar detectors is that most states now have detectors that detect detectors...... i think i got that right... Also since we use laser it is harder to pick up, back in the old days of radar the gun was always putting out a signal so no matter where it is pointed you could pick up the signal, these days, laser dosnt put out a signal till they pull the trigger and they dont do that till they have lined up a car, the best you can hope for is that they target someone near you before they target you. With the price of them these days and the chance of detecting them before they get you i personaly dont think its worth it. The only thing i would buy (but havnt seen one for sale yet) is a jammer, at least then you get a warning and time to slow down.

If you do another one it might be an idea to pick them up and post them your self, that way you know 100% for sure when there done and when there posted. Any one who buys something that is custom made to order would accept that there might be delays, but it would be annoying to be told that there posted when they have not been.

im after the panel in the boot that hides the battery and fuse box, do you still have that?

I want to make up a custom box that sits inside the 1/4 panel on the right hand side.

6x9's are a cheap mans replacement for a sub, 6" and a sub will sound a heap better.

What do you mean by universal, the hole they clip into are different sizes on different wheels, do these adjust? If they dont can you give me some idea of how big the hole has to be. Also how far do they stick out, from the pic it almost looks like the centre cap off a 4wd.

I drive a 2005 hino truck that is aus delivered and it does the same thing, low beams go out when the high beams are on.

After the back wall panel, the bit that stands up vertical and covers the section that has the battery and fuses and all the other messy looking electrical bits. Need it to be in melbourne and would prefer somewhere around frankston so i can pick it up. Thansk.

And if you go one step further and make it so it stops verticaly it would create less drag, will look like your wiper motor has shat its self but will come in handy for those 250+k/hr runs to the milk bar.

errr, its not a mat, its a bit of wood covered in carpet, i would put it in with the trim that goes round the inside of the boot, covers the attery and fuse box and in a lof of cases, including mine, it is where ppl mount amps.

Finally found something i want, the big divider panel between the boot and where the battery and fuses are, how much just for that and does it have any cut outs or anything in it?

Is this receiver the one that uses the older style nokia battery? How long does the battery last on it, have heard that a lot of them die pretty quickly.
