Need Some Expert Eyes Thanks
Bluprint replied to dcanna's topic in RB Series - R31, R32, R33, R34 (1986-2002)
The link will work if you take the last backslash off the end of it. http://www.carsales.com.au/pls/carsales/...dealer_id=12510 The engine is an RB25DET Neo, it's just missing the engine cover. The car looks quite nice. -
I can't come during the day either, I'm working.
-
Will do my best to make it.

I'm keen!

Friday Night At Grevillea Park

I would but I'm busy tonight. -
Challenge accepted and I found the photos within about a minute.

I doubt he gave anything away but it runs a fairly angry RB25DET Neo

Spotted my girlfriend's salon business spotlighted in the City Chronicle!

R33's were never made left hook as far as I know. The only left hander Skylines I've ever seen are R31's that were sold in the middle east.

One thing he's forgotten to tell you though don't unplug them/plug them in while the car's running... right James?

If your pod filter's wet then it's very likely that you've gotten your airflow meter wet. Could be that. It could also be the electrical contact for the crank angle sensor has gotten wet, which isn't far from the air filter. Could be your coilpacks starting to bomb out by coincidence, but that only really happens when you rev/boost it hard and flat footed (initially). Does it matter if the engine's warm or not?

Bullet32 and I are coming out for a drive, though we'll probably be there before 10. -
Posting an e-mail I got just now... Dunno if I'll put my car on show, it's not been cleaned in a while! But I'll probably go for look.

Sometimes it's just the person you get at the time you walk in there I guess. I get R34 bits from Lennock Nissan sometimes (usually just filters) and the guy I normally go in and see is really great, get me what I need (eg. got me a couple of breather hoses from Nissan Japan fairly quickly) and has a chat etc. Even asked to see my car once and brought the workshop guys out too. But once or twice I get this guy who's mood changes completely when I ask him for R34 bits, he suddenly looks down on you and either tells you "we don't have parts for private imports" and walks off, or goes in the back and has a look for literally no more than 4 seconds, sticks his head out around the corner and says "No you'll have to try one of those aftermarket workshops" and then walks off. Anyway, I guess it can depend on who you get on the day.

From what I've read Holden won't be selling new Camaros in Australia at all (financial crisis), and the only way you'd have one would be an imported one with a RHD conversion.
