  1. I would be in, however I'll be in Melbourne that night. In for any other time in case it changes though.
  2. Case: Unknown (Can't remember and can't find a name). Motherboard: Asus P5K-Deluxe WiFi CPU & CPU Cooler: Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 G0 Stepping with stock cooling. RAM: 4Gb Geil DDR2-800 5ms Monitor: Chimei 22" Widescreen Graphics Card: nVidia GeForce 8800GTS 640Mb HDD(s): 3x WD 500Gb SATA2, 1x WD 320Gb IDE, 1x WD 250Gb IDe OS Used: Windows Vista x86 Peripherals: Logitech MX5000 Keyboard & Mouse combo, Asus DVD-RW. Built it about 2 years ago when all bits were new, still goes hard. I built it for gaming. Can overclock it but haven't found the need to yet.
  3. Once or twice, I rarely drive to work.
  4. Saw most likely the same car parked in Civic around lunchtime, looks like an ADM model.
  5. So, I've been out of bikes for a long time (10ish years, since school... oh god I'm getting old ) and the other day I went out and bought myself one of these - Cannondale F6 hardtail. Same colour as the one in the picture, except mine's got V-brakes instead of cable discs. Could have had it in red but my car's red so I wanted something different Picked it up for $750, but have had the bike shop retrofit a lockout on the front suspension and changed the tyres to something slightly better for the road. The idea is to use the bike for riding to work and also for some light trail work out in the forest, hance why I got a mountain bike instead of a road bike. I don't really know that I've gotten a good bike for what I paid so any feedback by those more knowledgeable would be good I test rode this one and a $1,000 Avanti and chose the Cannondale because it felt lighter and came with a 15-year frame warranty as opposed to a 5-year warranty with the Avanti. They felt pretty much the same to ride. The Avanti had a bit better brakes but that's about all I could distinguish.
  6. Close. He built the car for his wife.
  7. You could piss off many an American car fan and put a 26 into something nice & lightish like a C4 Corvette, however fitment of a longer engine might upset the weight balance I guess. An 80's Volvo would be good. And completely unrealistically, and stupidly... RB26 into some Morgan Plus 8 Turbo or similar.
  8. Spotted Zane outside Hoyts cinema last night... And 2 guys cruising around in (almost) matching purple R33's, one a GT-R and one a GT-R lookalike GTS-25t.
  9. I'm mainly reading Top Gear Australia at the moment. It's pretty similar to Wheels and Motor though.
  10. I was also under the impression that R34 Neo motors were supposed to have the fixed snout, but after further investigation (and having a motor pulled apart ) I discovered that it's only really late model R32 and R33/34 RB26's that have it.
  11. I've had my Neo rebuilt (It's from a 6/98 R34 GT-t), it did have the RB26 style rods and solid lifters but didn't have the fixed crank snout as you have also just discovered. Had a Pro Engines Jun copy crank collar made up and fitted for it, which you could also get done.
  12. mmm, I'm on Facebook... that's enough for me
  13. Can't make it, family stuff on Easter Sunday.
  14. Doesn't sound right. An engineer's approval is an engineer's approval. Do you know what's different in this new format? Like something that has to be approved now that didn't have to be approved before? So what your mate is basically saying is, if I have to go to Dickson for whatever reason, and I hand them my engineer's report which they have already gone over and approved over a year ago, they will then tell me that it's invalid and I have to pay in excess of $1,000 again to get a new certificate that says the same thing as the old one, and then go through all the bullshit I did with Dickson the last time, all over again? *Bluprint sets reminder in his phone to call Ray Spence on Monday...
  15. James... Can you tell me what today's date is please?
  16. What, the Raiders match? I'm just going to leave Wheels early and go to both
  17. Was intending on coming, but now I have both an anniversary and a farewell to go to, so looks like I'm out...
  18. The owner's son took the car for a joyride and crashed it, if I recall right. I think he had a mate and his girlfriend in the car too?
  19. pffft, that's cheap. Someone should get this. Lancia Rally 037
