  1. Yep I would like NISMO N1 engine and turbo's for my R that will exceed your limit
  2. I'm with Shannons, GTR R33 insured for agreed value of $47,000 cost is $67.00 per month. Reason is I am on the insurance that my car isn't a daily driver so premium is less. I'm 27 BTW
  3. www.japanparts.com give them a call or email them and ask, they will even get ya a part number to help widen your search.
  4. When you realize that your car loves you more than your misses!
  5. It has changed my view to the point of the following: If I want a stylish larger vehicle which is a direct rip off of the following vehicles. 1995 Audio A6 Front of Ford Focus/BF falcon Sides of a Magna 380 with poor build quality...... Then yeah it's a great car.
  6. I don't know the chick in the 2 right photo's is 3 cans for sure!
  7. For the nobel park issue it simple..... Don't have the maccas's 24 hours it is the only 24 hour joint on that part of the hwy.
  8. No politicians and government departmenst are excempted
  9. obviously GTR's are different I just changed the setting. No need to reset ECU. whatever works in the end is the best.
  10. BTW 100% learn mode is that when there are changes to your car the ECU will automatically adjust tuning, rev, power and air fuel mixture.
  11. You do not need to reset your ECU it is a setting within the ECU, next time you go in for a services or a tune ask the person to check when they are connected with the ECU coding console for your car.
  12. There is one thing to check..... If you are running stock ECU make sure that it is set 100% learn mode others wise it won't self regulate the changes required with the new CAT under load.
  13. Guys, cops are clamping down hardcore and are trying to do there job to the best of their ability. The only way not to get caught is to drive the following Commodore VL to VE Falcon XD to BF any small 4 cyclynder vehicle non-turbo. end of discussion.
  14. No offence I have dyno prints to prove it. before high flow with ADR compliant restrictor 154.7 @ all 4 wheels After Nismo high flow installed 175kw @ all 4 wheels (plus this is a high flow I improted from Japan the brand is Welidin which is NISMO) BTW I am running a stock GTR exhaust systems.
  15. I got a Nismo 3" high flow from Japan Increased kw by about 20 and improved response. Maybe it comes down to what Highlow brand you get. eg. some are designed for holden's and fords and don't operate as well in a forced induction car say compared to a HKS or a JUN.
  16. It will only become a bif deal when there is a man in a chicken suit running the state........ Oh shit it's a big deal!
  17. I think to seperate ouselves from such behavior we should have an initiative working with the Police and help get rid of the problem drivers. If we do nothing we support it. If we are proactive to help then we will have a better relationship with the Police and be able to get rid of our clubs negative attitudes towards Police (myself included).
  18. The thing that really anoys me is that when searching in google for Noble Park drags, you get taken to the holden car club site and the ford site where if you read the posts some particpants or on lookers are affiliated with those car clubs. May I suggest to all admins to search our forums and be sure that we haven't been used as a communications thread for these idiots who have no regard for the law. I have had one speeding fine in my GTR and currently serving a 1 month suspension that has been my first speeding fine in 2 years owning the car and has been my first fine in 6 years. BTW the VS commodore who was speeding faster than me wasn't pulled over and was in the lane beside me so go figure.
  19. Here is some infor that Austrlian car manufactures must follow to for ADR. Had a look at the ADRs. ADR 61-02 says that for all vehicles other than L class (Passenger cars are MA class) the licence plate must be parallel to and forward of the front axel and no more than 1300mm from the ground. Subpart 2 of the ADRS (which contains all the definitions of terms) defines an axel as follows, One or more shafts positioned in aline across a vehicle, on which one or more wheels intended to support the vehicle turn. The above is the basis for all laws in each state.
  20. Great to meet you guys. Awesome rides and it was great to be around a bunch of people who appreciate later model skylines. I am currently filling out my membership so you will be seeing alot more of me
  21. www.japanparts.com order direct from Japan brand new parts delievered to your door within 14 days. I don't bother with Aust Market anymore they over charge on second hand parts too.
  22. Full time systems admin/Network admin in IT
  23. I am saying you will make you money back and then some selling the cars as parts. Subi parts for new cars ain't cheap!
  24. I will be honest buy it cheap, strip for parts and sell parts make more money back. Structual damage means once the car is repaired it will never drive 100% or be the same car as what it was.
  25. Exactly and you know everything bolts in and all parts comes with all bits an pieces to make it fit. And power ratings and specs are spot on for improvements to your car. Plus Nismo is seen as the Nissan Geniune performance arm and development and engineering is shared between Nismo and Nissan so you know you pride and joy won't complain or have any issue's with the parts.
