  2. Awwwwww... I'm going to be in Melbourne then
  3. Good for you, I'm glad you could make a decision. When is it delivered?
  4. The most annoying song eva Holly Dolly's Dolly song"" AAARrrrrgh, damn dancing goat!
  5. ooohh, does that one ice skate too? *dumb comment of the day* I thought you weren't going for small and cute?
  6. tupperware would have had a field day!
  7. Hey, which way is up on the prostate diagram?
  8. I have actually had a friend being tailgated by undercover cops on a cruise, he braked hard to give them a scare and ended up being pulled over for dangerous driving. Had to pay it too, but I'm sure the cops got a bit of a scare. Not all cops are idiots on the road though!
  9. Interesting that you make that point, after all, the cops are supposedly no longer driving V8s due to media/public reaction to chases/fatalities.
  10. That's the fun of forums, don't knock it!
  11. Have you thought about lookign for an ex demo car? they usually have a fair chunk of the price knocked off, stuff all ks and you can still get the new car you want?
  12. I want a Vanquish, but am I going to get one? Nooooooo, apparently I'm not that spoilt.... At least you get to go test driving!
  13. But funnily enough, it's almost always p platers in their bunkie VLs and VNs trying to race, rarely the imports, in my experience. I'm not saying that the import drivers aren't racing as well, but it's pretty bad for the cops to make the generalisation that the ppl driving the modded cars are going to speed more than a member of the general public. It's a hard call trying to reduce the amount of crashes on the road.
  14. Have seen unmarked XR6ts on fwy (nth and sth).
  15. I once had an undercover "encouraging" me to race on the fwy, I guess you just have to be able to recognise their cars and have the sense not to join in. For the most they do stand out as unmarked police, hehe. I also heard last year that they were using Magnas? anyone know about this? are they still using them?
  16. LOL, Poor thing, there really is no room in those cars!!! It's sooo funny when my friend takes hers out for MC days and her helmet pokes out over the top of the windscreen! I am eye level with the sun visors on that thing..... I suppose you'd just have to drive it all the time!!!
  17. Hell, people who move over without indicating or looking full stop! Is it really that hard to indicate? or have a look in your mirror?
  18. I think it has to be cheaper than 25k! cappucinos and mx5s are an issue if you or partner are tall (5'10" and over)
  19. Aha, that's why it's so expensive. When i stopped being a student, it became cheaper for me to drive (bus and train took too long, and time is money). Brad, Subaru's, though reliable, are relatively expensive to insure and maintain compared to generic aussie or jap cars.
  20. I'm pretty sure my mechanic now has a licence to import them.... You could always just get a bunky or motorcycle, my bike costs $15 to fill up and lasts the week Catching public transport is the pits, Ryan, y r u paying so much for the bus? an all day ticket costs $3 when ur a student.
  21. Hahaha, I'm really that my fuel goes on the company card. Unfortunately power normally eqauls fuel, and that can change a lot depending on how you drive it, from my experience. It used to cost $50 to fill the corolla (vortex 95) and I could get as much as 600km out of the tank depending on how i drove it.
  22. Haha, If it's uni student style, you can't go past the corolla, cheap reliable and cute! Mine lasted forever! and was mega cheap on fuel, servicing, parts, insurance.... did i mention cute?
  23. The BA XR6 Turbo's are quite a good alrounder, a bit nose heavy to drive at times. You can get them pretty cheap too cos they flooded the market with them. 15-20K for fairly low kms. What size car are you after? Price? short range driving or longer stints?
  24. Well reasoned!
  25. Hahaha, Well, that was convincing! Is it physically possible to check your own prostate?
