It's the result of someone removing the needle from the tach, normally happens when they wind the speedo back. The only fix I found was to buy a cluster from a wrecker, got lucky with one that worked. Just swapped the tacho unit over.

Don't forget a "UNIT" sticker. And remove your back springs for instant lowrider status.
