Very nice - gl with the sale -
Once you can't trust a man's word - what's left? From what I understand of the situation it would have been better to say from the start that you would prefer to wait for a better off than set false expectations. Either way for somebody who is claiming to be all high and mighty - it's awfully unbecoming to personally attack and then defame a person's business don't you think?

I'm in the same boat as Sam. Not even sure if my payment/application went through or not?

About 4 runs per config so 12ish?

In case anybody was curious, they ran clockwise, clockwise figure 8 then short track. Fun track but with a few hairy areas where flooring it over a blind crest takes a bit of getting use to... Surprised that nobody else from SAU turned up?

I'll be going...?!

Sorry to hear! Is there any parts (besides panels) that would stand out? Ie. Custom 1 off Nismo front strut brace or something? Other than that, security wise I think you're best off trying some of the following... - Get a tilt sensor and/or glass break sensor - Get a SMS pager with back-up power supply of some sort (well hidden so it pages you as soon as the car tilts - I'm personally no more than a 5 min sprint away from my car at all times and probably less when I'm boiling with rage knowing somebody is touching my pride and joy...) - Piezo siren will help but I believe that due to some law, car alarms have to shut off after a certain period... - Battery back-up siren (incase they decide to remove the battery connection) - For car thieves NOT using a tow truck, remember to have a trained professional install your alarm. People seem to think that super advanced alarms with a million features is more important than the actual install. Incorrect... if I can find your alarm (most lazy installers will just put it under the steering column), it's not going to take long to figure out where the black wires intercept into the loom and go from there. A proper install will take longer and be more expensive but if it looks like it's part of the loom or even better, very difficult to get to... chances are the thief is going to give up. - Try and do some research on factory security flaws. As most of our loved cars are from Japan, culturally - theft isn't a huge issue over there so I don't imagine security being extremely high in terms of priority. I remember vaguely there was a way to start the S13 from under the bonnet regardless of alarm... but I could be wrong... - If you know your engine bay well, a cheap security method against normal thieves is just to pull random parts out Fuses don't work so well as they could swap them around if they were smart/bothered enough... - If you know wiring looms etc yourself, try "stealing" your own car to illustrate any flaws it might have. There's a lot you can do to try and deter/prevent theft but as always... especially with tow trucks, if they really want the car, they'll find a way

After my first car I've bought ONLY plastic/metal body parts and have never encountered ANY issues. They scrape on the ground, suffer light taps, I can sit on them... and they're fine. But on my first car... I bought a copy Vertex kit... it wasn't the best and I realised, I got what I paid for but unfortunately panel shops who DON'T make these abortions have to deal with them and put THEIR name to it. Don't get me wrong - there are fantastic fibreglass kits out there made by Vertex, GP-Sports, C-West, Amuse etc. But too many people buy "DRIFT STYLE" or "V STYLE" kits and the like, expecting D1 show car material - don't fool yourselves seriously. It's easy to spot who cheaped out on their cars regardless of panel shop they visited - cause really, you can only polish a turd so much. But back on topic... haha - it's difficult to find a panel shop that is willing to represent itself online so openly. This just shows he has nothing to hide which is more than what I can say about some other businesses. I've never seen a situation where Vu hasn't been willing to fix the problem. DT will source most parts at good rates, be straight up about any potential problems (whether customers actually listen is another thing...) and do extra small custom work. For the price paid, I really think it's extremely good value for money. There are better options out there but you pay heavily for it (if they're willing to take the job that is). Decide what option is best for you really. In the end if you have a problem with DT - let Vu know about it. He won't bite I struggle to comprehend where these issues have popped up with Vu in charge really...

Another +1 for a SR20DE S13. Heaps of aftermarket parts available (if you're not looking at the engine ). Then later you can always go SR20DET without much trouble. But if you want something that handles better but a little less power depending on whether you choose 1.6 or an 1.8 (Might be hard to find), go for an MX5. Maybe a SW20 NA MR2 if you're lucky for that price? If you don't mind FWD, a Toyota AE111, or a Civic EG/EK hybrid or even a N14 SSS will be lots of fun too

I don't know if anybody has mentioned tyres... borko08 make sure you're not running some cheapo China tyres on the rear and even the worst of suspension setups will see some improvement. The rest should be driving experience so definately take up an advanced driver's course asap I don't know why everybody is responding so harshly towards this guy, he seems fairly willing to admit his faults which is alot more than what I can say for most 18 year olds.

I'm after a front and rear set of QFM A1M or K750 pads for a S14 Front pads are the same as R32 GTS-T, Z32 etc... Do you accept Credit card or Pay pal? Let me know asap! I need these before June 9th!
