Hey Guys,
Went to start my car this arvo, since it had been sitting there for a while....
On the first start, it was miss firing quite badly, with a strong Fuel odour.
I switched my car off and could continue to hear a hissing sound, noticed my fuel switch was left on, and when turned off the noise disappeared.
I continued to diagnose and removed the loom's off all the injectors and turned the fuel back on, and the hissing noise came back (sounds like injector 1)
So I have come to the conclusion that my injector is seized open??? Or do the injector's stay open when disconnected (I highly doubt as they would continue to leak when car switched off)
Would taking them to an injector specialist help? or are they pretty much gone once this happens?
