What Cars Do Japanese Police Have In Their Arsenal?
Hungryhippo replied to shiro240's topic in Japan

as the title says.popped the bonnet after a good fang round the mountain and the exhaust manifold, turbo exhaust housing and about 10 cm of the dump pipe were glowing red.is it athing to worry about?

Heres a link to one of the companys that do urethane injection. you basically drill some holes in your side sills and b pillars and pour in the mixture that hardens inside and stiffens up the chassis. these guys sell it for 19000yen and another 50000 to 60000yen for putting it in your car, or you can DIY but if you make a mistake while putting it in the sills it is impossible to remove. All the positive reviews ive read are from people who've used it and had success. All the negative reviews are from people that havent tried but point out all the things that could potentially go wrong with it
-
anyone tried urethane injection in the side sills? intereted in doing it to my car but would like to hear if anyones had any positive or negative experiences.

have you driven here? the roads are soooooo bloody narrow.half the time i can barely fit down em and I drive a kei car. And on the roads that are "normal" width the majority of people cant seem to stay in their lane anyway
-
if you end up in osaka i can take you up to minoo or nanko to watch drift or touge racing
-
pimsluer is good and mininova is your friend

it certainly helps but you can get by with no skills at first.and just being here you will pick up the basics very quickly
