that slip light is normal, comes on so you don't "lose control", but it does get annoying, which is why there is a little button you can press under the left side of the steering wheel (TCS) to turn it off, do a search, you can even buy a module that turns it off when you start the car as default, instead of flicking it every time. Car does not give you power even if you floor it, until it re-stabalises. gets really annoying if you have stiff suspension and you're trying to get through driveways! btw, if your car was just complied, Then changing the tyres should have been included as it is required

They should be there from factory, you can get them made aftermarket(illegal), but i think nissan will have them as well.

Size Of R34 Gtt Wheel Hub
Taleb Tyres replied to nuffsaid's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
A search would have shown pcd=5x114.3, hub=66mm Are you sure its an 82mm hub? Doesn't sound right as most wheels either come exact if they're Jap wheels made for the car, or 73mm which is the general after market size. You can fit them without hub rings but much better if you bought some or got some made up. -
Hey buddy, if you're interested i have 1 pair of Yokohama A038 semis left in stock in a 225/45/16, I've heard these are harder than the R888's however I've had no experience with these tyres so i cant say for sure. Let me know asap if you're interested. Al

Ok fair enough, but if it was a private carpark im asuming there would some kind of tollgate on entry and exit, i wonder if that could be argued. I guess its like that there as well, they were righting up defects last night at a Maccas Car park here in NSW, wether you were near your car or inside eating didnt make a difference to them...
-
Very bad luck mate. Car park on private property, i dont think they're allowed to do that are they? i mean meeting regulations and all is fair enough , but thats when the car is on the road, or at least parked on a public road! Even though you could sort out those defects, i would confront the bastards about the issue until someone with some sense there realizes whats happened. I mean what if you had a club lock on the steering wheel or a sun shade covering the front window, is that an obstruction defect as well

Is 1500 Too Cheap For Some Rims?
Taleb Tyres replied to Fat_Tony's topic in Exterior & Interior Styling
Hey buddy, These rims are actually pretty light compared to similar rims in that category. I was recently booked for running adaptors plus spacers due to widebody kit, so had to find some rims quick and I came up with these in a 19x10 19 offset for my 34, i can tell you i work in the wheel and tyre industry, the wheels are light when compared to other cast wheels, and from personal experience i have not had any trouble with them. I can post up some new pics if you wanna see how they look. If your still interested in these but dont want to go through Tempe, give me a pm Al -
Whats your budget, How about some bronze wheels?
-
Yep, hence the exhaust sealer over the joints to cover it up, if you were to follow that path...
-
Mate you could always just make up a small plate with about an inch opening or so depending on what you need, and just bolt that up between where the cat and catback bolt up, easy to take off after just make sure its not too obvious as in nsw they lift the car up and do a thorough check with pics, best way to hide these things is get some exhaust sealer from supercheap and cover the joints up... that or invest in an Apexi EVC like i have, saves ALOT of hassles!
-
Cheers Matt let me know if you need anything else. trust33, they are the NITTO NT555, not drag tyres sorry. What size drag tyres where you after?
-
Hey Nick Sorry nothing in a 255/30/20. in regards to the inquiry, I dont really have anything dirt cheap, i dont deal much with Nankang in these performance sizes as too many customers have had problems with them, but i will tell you what i do have: 255/35/20 nitto NT555 for $275 275/30/20 Toyo T1S for $400 (if you're only after 2 then i can get you some B/S cheaper) 225/30/20, If youre after cheap i have the General, better than Nankang for $210.(NITTO also available)
-
i have available the NITTO NT555, made by toyo, in 255/40/17. $250 f&b, we're in Sydney about 5 minutes away from the Airport on Princes Hwy. Al

I Think Its Scrubbing?
Taleb Tyres replied to Rekin's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
If you roll the guards you wont be able to restore them back to what they were, but theres really no disadvantage in doing so, the only risk you have is if the paint cracks while rolling them, but if the job is done correctly then you wont be able to tell it has been rolled. -
Hey buddy, Im from Taleb tyres and we've done a fair bit with members from SAU that can tell you we're the cheapest in sydney, what sizes are you after? Al

I Think Its Scrubbing?
Taleb Tyres replied to Rekin's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
Still scraping?, you have to be patient if your gonna melt it back it took me an hour to remould front 3 series bmw guards to fit 22" wheels and theres still a little scraping, if all else fails just rip out the angle grinder -
Removing Locking Nuts
Taleb Tyres replied to Finny's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
Is it an alan key type or normal lock nut, as other have said you could use a wheel brace, use a smaller socket size and hammer it in, or get the hammer and chisel out if theres room, if your from sydney and buying tyres, we'll take them off for free. -
What sizes where you interested in? are you after cheap tyres or japanese brands?
-
Yea plus you cant rely on the cleared EPA notice, as my one clearly states it is not to be produced or shown to police when checking the car after it has been cleared... simply, its gains vs costs, if you dont need it get rid of it,
-
well actually ive always used the pod as the box wont fit the larger piping, i have the box on now though thats also with the standard piping so thats less flow, and with the boost turned off, and with my HKS ecu unplugged, so i really cant compare them as you can tell theres a huge difference. I only ever tried playing with it a bit with my car all tuned and set once, and within 10 minutes one of the intercooler pipe hoses popped off from the pressure so never again... But without an effecive heat shield and some sort of CAI theres no point in using a pod.

haha yea i own both, not both on the car .
