This is a common mistake mate, best way to take nuts off especially by hand is to start by loosening each nut then tighten it again slightly, go around and do this to each nut, takes the pressure of them, by undoing them one by one like you did you end up with the last nut taking all the pressure and even a heavy duty truck rattle gun wont take it off, what you end up with is a snapped stud the nut and stud wont cost more than 8 or so dollars, not sure where your from but shouldnt be too hard to find a local place, its the labour that will cost you. you can drive on 4 studs if your sensible about it, but still get it fixed asap.

we've run rft tyres on standard rims many times with no ill effects...

There is nothing wrong with Achilles tyres when you compare them to tyres in the same range/category. Obviously they are not the best tyres you can buy, but for the money and price range, it has to be one of the best available. they are Indoneasian not chinese made, manufactured using silica rubber, and locally distributed with proper warranty. You will find many stores bring in their own containers of cheap and nasty brands, and will charge the same price for them as you can get these. If you can afford to get a better brand then go for it, if not, these would be my choice from the base tyre range.

I'd personally go a 265 or 275/35/18(Also based on what we've done for customers over the years). Have a look around as 265 tends to be cheaper than 255 as it is more popular in the performance tyres.

Go a 245 30 20 on the rear it will fit no problem.

I like how you added work meisters after the 20" so as not to get flamed( as bad!) 245 40 is way too big for the R33(looks like bad camber wear so they need changing anyway). if you didnt want to run a 225 30 20 you could run a 235 30 20 for the front. By doing this you wont have to do any grinding, but if you had to you could grind away at the little lip of the upper control arm. Does the tyre bulge out past the rim? because with a 8.5" +25 the wheel shoudnt be that close to the side of the arm?

i was having similar problem, turned out to be my plugs had shit themselves at the tips leavin a huge gap causin the "wrx" sound haha.

Well after swapping out the iridiums last night to the coppers performance is back up to par. funny how after 10k's when theyre "supposed" to last like 60k, the tips of 3 of them had somehow dissolved leaving a gap of like 20 so its a +1 for the splitfires from me after all...

Man i burn everytime i drive my car and try to give it a little gas. I had the missifre problem about 1.5 yrs ago and went with the splitfires from CRD (less than 10,000k's so far), along with new spark plugs at the time and it fixed it. But now the problem has come back and progressed to the point i cant even take off without heavy missifire let alone dial in some boost at higher rpm. Has anyone else had such bad performance from a splitfire set? Im gonna change the plugs again(they were iridium not coppers so should last alot longer than 6thousand k's though!)

Is there a way to drop this delay for paying Traders such as myself who have also been on the forum for a while now?
