  1. Awesome work on your 34! I was a bit worried when i saw that badge, but then noticed its a GTSR badge, so respect regained Pictures look unreal.
  2. I wired up my MFD as an aux for my dvd deck when the TV button is pressed, right now it will play dvd's or the PS2 i've hooked up to the AUX on my deck( make sure anything you get whether it be a deck or tuner has NTSC output you can select as the MFD wont work with PAL systems), My deck does have TV tuner capability with the right module added on but i didnt bother with it, cant see any reason why you cant do this then connect it to whatever tuner you go with.
  3. 15/wheel to strip/fit/balance is what you should be paying. 15-25 a rim is acceptable.
  4. try going a 3mm spacer, maybe get the rear guards rolled to give you a bit more clearance on the outside rim, grinding calipers is kind of a steer clear area, but if its just touching then it should do the trick.
  5. 2 screws per pack is right nothing to worry about. dont think the silicone would help really, needs something that will provide a hard clear to insulate the spark, from memory clear nail polish or varnish etc works a treat then wrap with electrical tape. I didnt notice my old packs dying until i did a hiflow and upped the boost, ran great for a while then they let go so the boost was def. a factor, splitfires work a treat now
  6. factory is 225 45 18 front 245 45 18 rear. so its staggered diameter from factory, hardly tractor spec.
  7. Hehe appreciate it mate, we dont send tyres out if we think they wont fit/work.
  8. Thought i may as well explain why we went a 255 35. working off the 245 45 18 rears, a 255 35 20 rear is only 8-9mm larger in diameter, to have the diameter match up with a 30 series profile we would have to go a 275 30 20. Sean wanted a little stretch, nothing extreme but nothing too fat either so a 275 wasnt gonna suit, a 255 35 20 on the 10 will go perfectly with a 225 35 on the 8.5. (a 245 35 20 on the rear would have matched the diameter even better, but A, the V35 comes with staggered rolling diameters from factory so this keeps them uniformly staggered, and B, there would've been more stretch on the rear, the 255 stretch will match nicely with the 225 35 front.) happy to help
  9. I wouldnt mess with used, my old set im assuming had hairline cracks i couldnt see but i could see(and feel) arcing at night with the rocker cover removed, changed them with a set of spitfires and it was a totally different car. You're better off doing the cheap fix i think nail polish and tape? and save up for a new aftermarket set if you still need it.
  10. Your local tyre joints should be able to fit and balance for 15-20 a tyre if you supply the tyres. You should find Kumho cheaper than that if you shop around, We do Jap Nitto's for that kinda money, and Achilles fair bit cheaper, We dont sell the Kumho so cant help on those but they should be a fair bit cheaper than 366 a tyre. 245 35 and 275 30 20 is ideal. (EDIT: can help get you the Kumho a fair bit cheaper if you like, just pm me.)
  11. Try Peter at Bodyform, he's done a couple things for me in the past and i think he was doing Z-tune kits, may have something for the Gtt.
  12. Looks insane! Thats not a Bayside blue is it? looks much richer or maybe its the camera or maybe its just my eyes? Whatever it is its come out great. Being a little particular, but i reckon get the amber rear fog light cover to complete it Still tossing up on if i should colour code my skirts and rear pods like this and the others above or leave them black, im liking both ways
  13. You sir are a legend! havent been able to track them down and yes you are 100% correct they do indeed look to be identical to the tommy kaira front fenders. Yes taking expressions of interest on it currently, if the right buyer pops up that is. another:
  14. my 34 gtt yes you read top line correct! car diary: http://forum.jdmstyletuning.com/showthread.php?47431-R34-GT-huh
  15. Have done many 34 GTR's with 275 30 19 without problem, 275 35 19 as others have said, is what would be causing you problems, go down to a 30 and it should be much better, Having said that, what brand are your 275/35? as one 275 30 may be the same size as anotehr brands 275 35 or 285 30 etc..
  16. Thats mine! Lol No GTR badges! just a clean custom R34... details and pics( will get a thread up on SAU soon but for now : http://forum.jdmstyl...31-R34-GT-huh-! ps its for sale
  17. Great to deal with, thanks mate.

  18. Whats everyone been playing to gather xp? i've been doing demolition and usually come out of the game with bout 9000 not including challenge xp. psn: taleb87
  19. if going less than 28mm make sure the wheels have backspace for the protruding length of the existing studs(otherwise the adapter will be resting on your old studs which is not safe! heres 19x10 front +19 19x10 rear +19 +35mm rear adapters (its an r34 with wider guards though so theres about 15-20mm difference on how much more this fitment will stick out on a gtst)
  20. just saw this sorry bud, ill try taking one tomorrow for you
  21. 25mm front 30mm rear bolt on spacers, you should be able to find a set of ford Pre AU to AU adapters on the cheap as theyre very common. having said that, im running 19x10 in a +22, with an additional 35mm bolt on to get the look i want on the rear, with offset less is definitely more
  22. use hubrings on the hub of the car, so between your hub and the spacer.
  23. think i've found it, didnt notice there was a small relay wired right near the fuel pump in the electrical tape, however its still not doing anything even when bridged, anyone able to shed some light on this?
  24. many new sportscars are coming out standard with tyres that have semi slick style tread, but the big difference is in the rubber compound, so while it may look like a semi slick its actually very much so a street tyre made with the track in mind, think yokohama ad07/8, kumho ku36, bridgestone re11 or nitto nt05 etc as Richard said these are the best option for a daily driven car and are much safer in day to day conditions,( I like to call these "street semi's" to make life easier when comparing to true semi slicks such as Toyo R888, Bridgestone Re55s, yokohama a050). dont forget semi slicks usually have less tread depth, in NSW you need at least 1.5mm else its a defect, semi slicks will reach this much quicker due to low depth to begin with and fast wear, even though they may still have life left as a track tyre, on the street they will be a defect.
  25. There is a few threads going about rewiring a direct feed for the fuel pump but this involves a problem withthe stock fuel pump relay. we just installed a walbro pump, for some reason no signal is going through so im guessing the stock relay has shit itself? the fuel pump fuse is fine under the dash, changed it over and same problem, pump will not prime or turn on, tried another ecu and same thing I did the direct rewire as well as i was planning to, but this leads me to a faulty stock relay again as the new direct relay takes the signal from the stock relay(pump works fine if i just connect the power direct.) So question is, where exactly will we find the stock Fuel pump relay on R34 gtt to get that sorrted? i know we can easily wire the new signal to any source that switches on with ignition, but i want to do it the safe way and use the fuel pump signal. cheers Ali
