  1. We have some big races coming up and need to order a few sets of performance friction carbon metallic pads. I cant seem to figure out which part #s to use? Also if anyone has a recommendation for the compount, please let me know! i am planning on the 01 compound but was also recommended to look at the 97 compound and .10. need the following part #s: Performance Friction Front Pads for R32 GTR __________? Performance Friction Rear Pads for R32 GTR __________? Performance Friction Front Pads for R34 fronts (Gold Brembos) __________? Performance Friction Rear Pads for R34 rears (Gold Brembos) __________? Performance Friction Front Pads for Z32 __________? Cheers, Geoff PS for anyone looking for hawk ferrocarbon pads here is the info 1992 Skyline Front HB181N.660 NISSAN SKYLINE (BNR32) 1989-1995 ; Front Rear HB180N.640 NISSAN SKYLINE (BNR32) 1989-1995 ; Rear 1992 300zxTBO Front HB178N.564 NISSAN 300ZX 1990-1996 ; Front Rear HB179N.630 NISSAN 300ZX 1990-1996 ; Rear 2002 G35 Brembo Front HB181N.590 INFINITI G35 2003-2004 ; Front: BREMBO Rear HB180N.560 INFINITI G35 2003-2004 ; Rear: BREMBO
  2. ended being an HKS camshaft that broke between cyls 2 & 3 and a cpl bent valves. sticking with tomei and jun from now on
  3. what did this end up being? got a customers car today, same thing. good timing belt, fuel, spark, aftermarket MAP ecu, wont start on starting fluid either??
  4. adrian -- ill have to send you pics of the modified hypertune plenum in my car. it retains the ITBs. i think they will make them like this now
  5. we've done a bit of testing here, and have not found any application where the 1.06 offered anything over the .82. Dont waste your time with the 1.06 singlescroll housings. If you are staying T3 flanged, stay .82 !!! The only reason to go any larger is to use a twinscroll. I am doing a twinscroll T4 GT3582R on my RB26 right now shaun -- get rid of that 1.06, put back on your old .82 housing and find a new tuner!
  6. yeah 43 ftlb is correct! it is the same bolt as the z32 300zx TT VG.
  7. hey guys -- im not sure if this is gary or matt, but i NEED to place an order for the following items: (2) S14 Front bilstein insert shocks (4) S14 Rear shocks (2) R33 GTR rear shocks please email me at [email protected] so i can arrange payment and shipping, i hope this can get through to you!
  8. if you want to do the turbo setup right, dont use an off-the-shelf undivided T51R. make sure the turbine inlet and turbo manifold is divided/twinscroll and try to use two wastegates (one on each division). it makes a big difference!!
  9. i havent done it yet, but i am working on that right now
  10. you will want something that is twin scroll for sure. The T04Z doesnt work as well in a twin scroll as some of the GT wheels becuase it uses a P trim 11 blade turbine wheel (gt are 10 blade). my advice is a twin scroll 40R housing on a 4088 non ball bearing... great bang for the buck. it will have much better response than the 66.5mm/84mm 72 lb/min t04z becuase its a lower trim (64.5mm/88mm)
  11. i run (2) of the 6" diameter round 4" inlet/outlet mufflers on my personal car (RB26 w/ gt42R single turbo). it is quiet and sounds phenomenal. if you want pics let me know ill post them up
  12. so im putting a quaife in the front of my r32 gtr motor and i realized i cant pull these diff bearings off. Anyone know wht nissan part number for these bearings? or perhaps any identifiable features/numbers? please let me know! here are some pics of the diff if you are interested
  13. interesting design! I definately prefer twin scroll, however that is not bad at all. I have two recommendations, both of which involve fabrication/welding 1) using your current 44mm wastegate, make a radiused inlet into the manifold. We do this on applications which tend to creep. you can just cut out part of the manifold and put the ID of a tube over the hole, make sure you grind it to fit of course 2) put a tial 60mm gate on. these things are insane. On the PROFWD GM ecotec 1600whp methanol engines we went from dual 44mm TiALs which would creep to 18 psi to dual 60mm Tials and we could hold 7 psi perfectly
  14. What you are referring to is called boost creep. This happens very commonly on applications which have a free flowing manifold/turbine with poor wastegate placement and/or too small of a wastegate. If you can you post pictures of the manifold, wastegate and turbocharger I can tell you where the problem is coming from. Im a mechanical engineer, and worked on a masters thesis on this topic.
  15. the easiest/best way to do this is to either purchase (or fabricate) custom RB mounts to bolt on your S13 subframe. The cefiro holds the motor slightly lower, but it is still too far forwards. The GTS-T holds the motor too high and too far forwards. the only downside is that you will have to either use SR20 oil filters, or relocate to fit a big one.
  16. the s14 rear subframe is a HUGE upgrade for your R32 GTST. Your diff, axles, hubs and brakes will all bolt up, and you can get rid of HICAS as the same time highly recommended!!!
  17. i really recommend fabricating your own mounts. The RB subframe and mounts hold the engine too far forwards in the S chassis which aftermarket manifold are you referring to? i can probably help with the info, ive got 2 s13s with RB25s in them at my shop
  18. If you are in the US and looking to build your RB, drop me a line at [email protected], I can help out a bit. I am the head engineer at Full-Race and i have been working exclusively on RB26 engines in S14s for the past year -- http://www.projectR14.com we stock and make a variety of RB parts such as our twin scroll turbo manifolds, hypertune intake manifolds, JUN oil pumps, external oil drain lines, oil restrictors, etc. I fyou want a highway monster that is what we specialize in. Info for you -- -the stock rb26 bottom end is VERY strong. Be sure to have an experienced tuner use either AEM EMS or PowerFC (where are you located?) -you will not want to keep the twin turbos becuase of the S14's LHD steering shaft. single turbo works out muuuuch better on a LHD vehicle, although twinturbo is possible. -you will not want to use the N1 oil pump, use either a NISMO, JUN or Tomei -Procams will require you to machine the head for camshaft clearance ($$ and time). Poncams are much easier as they bolt in stock
  19. which cams and which turbo setup do you have?
  20. AEM EMS, by far one of the best fuel mgt options available for the RB.
  21. we make the manifolds you are asking about. we design the manifolds, we fabricate them all by hand. Hypertune makes the intake manifolds, we make the exhaust any other questions, email me at [email protected]. thanks
  22. depends which pump you are talking about -- fuel, oil, power steering, AC or water?
  23. if your t04e is a divided, twin scroll T4 turbo, no changes are necessary. otherwise, to properly use a t04Z, you will need a divided twin scroll t4 manifold. dual wastegates are best. it might make more sense to use a different turbo however
