Ive been rebuilding the car for the past 16 months so its now out of warenty but still pretty much brand new i paid $2300 for it at the time and like i said price is fricken negoitiable Capish... -
I have a problem with my air con ive searched for the wiring diagrams and i found a few things but i really just need to know where all the fuses are for the air con (obvious answer under the dash) I know this already.... the question im asking is that if anyone knows if there is any inline fuse's that are hidden somwhere?? i put power to the relay under the hood fuse box (marked A/C) and the aircon worked Perfectly... so i know the fault is somewhere between the head unit and the relay i checked other fuses under the dash and they seemed ok i also had the climate control unit replaced so i know that is not the problem Any ideas???

Im selling a garret 3082r or known as gt 3040 serial number 700177 - 5014 reason for sale is ive got it bolted up to an rb20 its just a tag laggy for my liking nothing wrong with the turbo at all its only done 7000kms on my car so it is brand new...... more than welcome to see how it goes on my car in fact i wont take it off my car unless sold because i am going to change it for a smaller turbo. its more suited to a rb25/ rb26 i made 260rwkw on my 2.0lt and detuned it too 240rwkw. its capable of over 300rwkw on the right engine easily turbo is rated at 600hp Ar .70 and im not exactly sure but i think its .82 rear compressor is like a gt 3540 (600hp) in a gt30 cover it has a t3 flange and suited for external wastegate price $2100

Ive been trying to work out what the housing size is on my turbo? my mechanic said its written on the inside of the housing but i dont wanna take my turbo off?? he said there's also a number on it that should be related to the size the number is 1679-6 can anyone tell me what size it is.. cheers

Guys just found out the serial number on my turbo i am still unsure of housing size think its .63 and a/r .70 serial number 700177 - 5014 ive tried to google search it and find it on the garret website but i cant get hard evidence on what it actually is?? can anyone help i wanna compare it too a 3071r

just hard to go against whats been proven all the data ive looked at shows tdo6 is clear winner for power on the 20 anyway i wil go see ray at RE and ask about the 3071r im sure ill be happy with it if i bolt it up. i would be happy with mine apart from late spooling of it.. for the power im making after de-tuning i might as well have gone with the 2530 i want a minimum 250 255kw all day every day if it came on earlier with my setup like the tdo6/3071r i would make the 260kw after the detune easy -

ok yeah just seems like the tdo6 is way better all over any other turbo for this power its definately proven itself the 3071r doesnt convice me yet but its still an option just wanna way it all up first my turbo has a .63 rear. and yeah my engine is completly rebuild with forgies ect ect not sure on compression? from what rob has told me at sabbadin my engine is a pretty good build compared to others he's seen but then again i know nothing about engines and just put my trust in him. he said a 3071 would be good and told me from the tag that my turbo is like a 3540 or something in that range the car is getting painted atm i will have it back this week so i can check the tag again for the spec's on it -
Need to find out how hard it will be to change from my gt30 turbo on my rb20 that is a top mount manifold and external wastgate too the tdo6s L2 8cm turbo? im not too sure on all the flange sizes of my turbo setup as the car is getting a make over. and is it possible to just buy the tdo6 with out the full kit? and anyone know price for just the turbo?

how will a tdo6 bolt up to my car? i dont wanna buy a full kit..... i got a gt30 on mine now but i dont even know what size the flange is can you buy just a tdo6 turbo by itself?? what are they worth? not so easy to find ay

yeah na pretty sure it is a .63 not sure on exact size but it is big full boost at 5500 - 6000 my mechanic told me not to wind it up past 20psi on pump fuel. i am runnin v power he did say ultimate is way better i just wouldnt push a stocker that hard ay i dont even push mine to limit i got forgies and the lot in mine now but i am gonna do a seperate tune on race fuel i reckon ill be pushing a fair bit more on that but only for like track days and sprints im happy with a conservative 240 250 kw but still wanna bring it in lower i want full boost at 4500rpm 3071r or td06 here we come

thanks for the search i couldnt find any of that before now the tdo6 comes into play how different do you think the tdo6 ls 8cm is compared to the 3071r? im not sure if the tdo6 will bolt up too my setup and i dont wanna buy a whole kit for it?

in regards to the top question my car before i had it rebuit was set to 20psi running everyday pump fuel it let go a month later because the head gasket blew. a few other things contributed too but anyway dont run over 20psi unless you got race fuel pump fuel sucks dude you will blow your 20 pretty quick if youve just bolted up everything to a stocker im making 241rwkw now after my expensive rebuild the engine pumped out a 260kw run but we detuned just in case somethin let go i reckon my car is capable of 280 - 300 kw if i stick some boost in it and tuned it to race fuel for a couple of passes my other question to adam was that ive got a gt30 in mine now but its bloody laggy 5000rpm starts to com on hard did cams make a big difference in your car? im gonna change my turbo to the 3071r same power less lag? what you reckon?

ive been looking through heaps of dyno sheets ect and ive decided to change my turbo and go for the 3071r im chasing 260rwkw out of my r32 rb20 at the moment i have like a gt30 on it but it hits boost real late at like 5000 - 5500 rpm ive been told a 3071r will do it and come on boost between 4000 - and 5500 just dont know what housing's to use and what all the specs are that i need for it to run well on my car Any help i can get from you turbo experts would be much appreciated even if i could find out the exact cartrige number so i can just order it would be a bonus cheers

well i broke the 260rwkw mark but im not happy with it really comes on full boost at 5500rpm im runnin a gt30 at the moment thinkin bout down sizing what do you guys reckon the quickest setup would be? a big turbo or a small to medium size on the rb20?? -
might try the 3071 or td06 i really dont wanna spen the money and then be un happy with the smaller turbo's i still wont come on full boost till like 4000 right??? its been so long ago that my car was stock
