im not looking to make more power just want it lower down in my rev range the 2835? what power is it capable of and does it spool up earlyish? do you think a gt30 450hp is beter than a t-d o6?

I wanna hear from anyone running this setup on thier car??? boost range/power i want big power with least amount of lag not sure what turbo to change too??? I wanna be able to drop a nice burnout without dumping the clutch at 5000 lol HELP ??????

ant.... i love the deep breath after the car came to a stop just after the spin. that same point is where i span from down gearing into second and getting compression lock up. i reckon there could have been oil even in that section of the track??? -

yeah your right. its really just trying to set up the car the way you like it i suppose either to suit a track or at the moment my car to a drag strip -

yep i hear ya cheers. my suspension and everything is stock the breaks were fading pretty bad once i heated em up on the dry lap i got one decent lap out of em then they were bad i couldnt hold any speed up to a corner at all really. i was using my clutch to slow the car but that didnt work too good either. compression lock ups into corners are scary sometimes. i was facing the wrong way once lol. but i tell you what it was fun once i got the hang of it kicking out so hard. my turbo is a gt30 450 hp im making around 240kw on pump fuel. it will make 260 comfortably too but i dont wanna push the limits. just not sure how boost comes on in the other guys cars with the rb20 mine is probably the same maybe it is just my setup breaks tyres ect. brisby has a td-06 not sure when he hits boost? ive just been thinking that even if your making less power but it comes on earlier you will carry way more speed through the rev range. and come on boost better out of corners. -

I had a great day apart from being outright slowest round the track. shows how much breaks and tyres can do. i did a 1.42 on the one dry lap... very very slow but thats cause i didnt wanna right my car off i was just cruising upto corners and still getting compresion lock ups sideways into the s bend at the back of the track i lost it twice round there but no damage done. i had fun i got some crazy footage of the last corner onto the straight of everyone the gtr's are mad round the corners my car was sideways constantly and all the gtr's glide through with ease.. i will post soon as i have it all i need some tips for new mods just to compete with you guys. Breaks? suspension? tryes? i even think my turbo is too big i had trouble keeping it on boost coming out of corners too... with the rb20 i wanna make round the 240-260kw mark but i wanna come on full boost at round 3500 4000 is this possible? mine kicks at like 5000 too late you reckon? -

well i found out that having stock breaks and street tyres in the wet are terrible to race in... lol i found it hard to even keep it straight while down gearing. sorry if i held any of you guys up at all i tryed to stay out of the way as much as possible. -

me the same also... just about to check all my tyre presure's too i was just gonna run what i do for every day use but maybe drop just a little ?? hey do you think it is better to use an octane booster in the fuel for track day's too?? -

paid for my camms licence..... ill be there just wont go too hard every lap. ive lowered the boost level now anyway, only making round 240 rwkw mark... 7000 rpm rev limit too But still plenty :-) just gotta get an extinguisher and mount it. -

sweet i just changed my pads but dont know how worn the discs are gonna search now bout the fire extinguisher. ill be in... i think ill jump in the standard class i wont push it too hard -

just wanna know where the best place to put a fire extinguisher in an r32? last time i took out the top of the centre console and screwed it down in the existing holes. but then when i got the car scrutinered (i cant spell) they told me that i needed to use bolts not self tapping screws so in the end i had to duct tape it to the side of the seat. And they passed it but man there was no way i was getting that out in a hurry if there was a fire. any suggestions on where to put it? -

the thing is it was pretty much the same before i did the clutch plate apart from being heavier on the foot cause its a performance clutch -

my mechanic replaced my clutch and transmission oil. so im guessing he did all the adjustments to it... considering there was no engine in the car when he replaced it im sure he had a resonable look inside. any way yeah i think ima start lookin at a 25 box for the power i have my box wont last long... how much do you think a 25 box is $1500? for a second hand one? is that not including labour to put it in? -

can you get syncros fixed or replaced or is that part of the box? dont know much about transmissions. reverse is the very hard to engage. -

its yeah id say all of them obviously alot easier going from 3rd to 4th but 1st to second is kinda stubbourn its really not that bad but its not as good as other manuals ive driven it almost feels the way a van or a 1 tonne ute is -

yeah thats what i thought. i know that the box will go next but you can always hope i suppose. just still wanna know if it is normal to find it a little hard to find gears or are most 32's with a good box smooth not sure cause i dont have many mate's with 32's? -

one other thing i forgot to mention is that it has always been really hard to find reverse in the car you need to pull it right to the side before pulling it back into reverse other wise it wont slot in not sur if that means anything? -

i might be trippin. but i own an r32 gts-t i havent really driven any other manual r32's so its hard for me to really comment but basically ever since ive owned the car i find it hard to gear change quickly? for example i need to give it a few split seconds before getting it in the next gear its not that bad but makes it hard to snap gear's niclely on a track if you know what i mean. other manuals ive driven are easy as so its not me but i think maybe there could be a problem with my trany? just wanna hear other guys views. are they all like this? also been told to shorten the shifter with one of those ebay kits you can get? might help? not sure mechanic says it is a bit hard to gear change in my car so he's changing oil but i think it was changed recently does any one know much about it? sorry for the long post. cheers
