  6. This is a common problem with R33s i own my second skyline and it does the same thing. nothing much to worry about, you can fix it but i think its expensive
  7. Yep am sure i had my previous R33 under my mums name whos a pension when i came to sell it i rang the RTA (NSW) and asked would it be possible for me to sign in the blue slip on behalf of my mother with a letter attached from her saying i could sell register the car on her behalf and they said no, i only asked them because i already had a letter from my mum signed to do so but it was no use. i could only register the car but cant sell it.and i still had to provide her pensioners card. Maybe its different in Vic best thing to do is ring your Road and traffic authority, i think they r callec Vic road or something but thats how its in syd.
  8. Hi Guys just thought i would get your opinion on this and see what ppl do, do you warm your car before you go for a drive either in the morning or afternoon after work and so on, how long do you keep it on for, do you wait for the oil pressure to drop/heat gauge to move ...... i know the oil plays a big part in this i use Motol 4100 turbo light, please note what oil your using.. is it important to warm the car / leave it for 30sec then drive...?? i usually turn the car on have a fag then get it and drive but i dont push it till the car is warm enough... whats your opinion

  11. Daily, i did not buy a car to sit at home, but always careful where i park it
  12. oi magpies03 the problem starts when you bought a skyline thats doing 150ks, not from the guys who are spending alot of money on they line, all tho its hurts every month you have to chuck some money into it but at the end its worth it and enjoyable. i think 95% of imported cars have been clocked back at least 50Ks or so thats at least 200Ks on you clock. but then i own my second skyline atm, the first one was pretty much stock Gtst engine wise, but had a Gtrbody kit all round which what i need at the time something that looks nice and has a bit of balls, did not touch the engine apart from servicing, changing castor rods "Front" and an exhaust. i had the car for 2 years and had no problems alltho this one since the day i bought it theres not one week goes by with out having to add fix or upgrade something to it Wednesday morning am going to BD4s for tuning my F-con v which is going to cost me quite abit. at the end of the day we love our cars we dont mind spending the money on it because its the passion and joy we get out of it. but to answer your question, a car is a car something will break down and for the line will be more expensive then normal cars to fix, same with the hond, its parts are expensive as well, i advice you to go with the honda tho for your age been a turbo, are you sure you can drive that.? My mate is selling his Integra if you want let me know
  13. Alright Alright.. DONT RUSH TO DO THIS GUYS. I had to learn the hard way on my first line I decided to clean the engine so I only covered the Alternator then gave it a nice high pressure wash came out beautiful but then I had to change my coils and my sparkplugs, and the car had continues back firing (small tho). First thing you need to do is warm the car a little then cover the top of the engine so no water goes to sparks and the little chip at the end towards the dashboard, and cover your alternator its located on the left had side near the oil filter towards the radiator, give it a nice rich degreaser spray don’t worry this will not crack the head. Then allow the degreaser work and for the engine to cool about an hr the longer the better but not too long, then wit high pressure rinse the degreaser, try not to use too much water, leave the car to dry a bit and off you go, Tip: spray degreaser underneath the hood, you know that foam heat sh*t, you’ll be surprised how much sh*t comes out. I’ve done this on both my cars, my mates 200, Gti, BMW, 300, and another skyline. All came out beautiful and no problems, but do this at your own risk I don’t want to take the blame for someone else’s fault. You might smell some degreaser for the first few times you take the car out but its just the degreaser getting burned which is normal. If you want to be more safe about doing this, after cleaning the engine and drying it, take the spark plugs cover off and with a air pressure blow off any water that might of got inside. I don’t recommend using silicon, it does make the car look nice and shiny but attracts dusk very quickly. The degreaser at the car wash is cheap but is not as good. JCMarshall_Law Check your spark plugs they might have been gone, Or your know the battery converter the box thing I don’t know whats it called, it has the big fuses and shit next to the over flood radiator container, check the positive connection to the car might of came lose or something, or check all your fuses mainly ignition fuse. Sorry its abit long but I don’t want someone else to go through what I’ve been thro. And I don’t mean to offend anyone just speaking from my experience.
  14. the white R33, Had Advan racing wheels on it (Red)..?
  15. might help.. i've got da HKS GT2835R on my rb25 that did 248.3KW at 15psi. engin mods front mount 3.5" exhaust hks f-con v hks Electronic valve controller, i played with this when i got it and i think i might of fked up the fuel ratio and sht cause on the dyno, the fuel and air ratio was all over the place, i'll have to take it to BD4s who can program the F-con V, and by that i know i can get more out of it. stock coils i mean 250kw is more then enough i hope this helps in a way
  16. do you have a blow off, that might be it, the spring could be too lose or too tight, i heard the stock coils are good enough you can take them out check if they r burned from the side if so that might be the problem. but better off take it through a dyno run and hopefully that will pick up the problem. then again maybe your not leting enough fuel in for higher boost
