Hi guys just got done last night for a few things including noise and emission test, i know my car will not pass for sure, this is a list of whats on it its an r33 with an F-con V an Evc full exhaust from turbo a pod and a BOV i talked to others and they suggested to put a stock exhaust, change the pod to stock, change the bov, leave the boost off, run it on normal unleadedand and change the spark plug to the normal NGK any one sugest anything else or any of these will not make any difference. am sure someone had to go through this before what did you do, any help is very much appreciated. thankx in advance
  3. I think it might be your syncros on 1st and 2nd gear, reason been they are the most gears been used, i dont think it matters that much, it depends how bad they are, try using redline oil might help it abit, or you could get them changed, it might cost you abit tho.
  4. hi guys, i have the same problem my brakes squeal like a woman in labour, this is what i've changed since they starting to squeal new rotors RDA 4 different brake pads, bendix ultimate bendix HD fredos formula i think 2000 or something liek that and then i went for Genuine, which stop squealing for a week, then i starting giving it a hard time for like one day, since then it started squealing again like a pig, i do have the shims on, i've cleaned everything like 3 or 4 times, i dont know what to do.... i have a worn castor rod bushes on the rears, could that be it...? all this was done at a brake specialist, and he is even out of options, can the shims be damaged or worn after use for a while, there is no obvious damage tho... any help is appeciated
  5. to check if pistons are working fine, push them back with your fingers if they are too hard that might be your problem, thats what my brake specialist told me, am having big dramas with my brakes squeeling but can't figure it out

  9. honastly, they both dont suite the car at all, and i think most ppl feel the same i dont think they want to tell ya, they dont suite a SKYLINE i would put them on a hatchpack, a GTI a GTIR or a CRX, more of a rally type, but the best best wheels i've seen that suite that colour, deeb dish shadow chromes, they looked awsome, but if you've only got these 2 to chose from i would go with the grey, the gold is way 2 much. dont take it personal champ just saing what i think, half of the pplz that have seen my car dont like my wheels, but i liek em so dont matter/.... R33-Lovr---apologies keep in mind its dark,
  10. just wondering, what's the difference between the 40th anniversary R33, then the normal one, I know its the last made of the R33s in 1998, but i mean wats different in the car...
  11. i went throught the same thing you did a few weeks back, wanted a dvd player and a bluetooth, couldnt find both in one, so i went with the pioneer 9850BT, which i obviously use more, i thought about it like this, DVD player, humm am i gunna be watching or driving, the 9850 is good has alot of fitures, cost me about 840 installed, which was a very good price back then, am sure you can get it for the same price now shop around and always say the other shop gave me a cheaper option, btw i think this one plays dvds as well jst needs a screen am not totally sure.

  15. I had that problem when i bought my first car, washed the engine stright away, humm i took each spark plug out dryed em and use airpressure to get rid of the left over water, and a week later changed all spark plugs and coils, but the car started back firing alil bit till the day i sold her. if that dosent work, i recommend you get your fuel system checked,
  16. this is what i think is safe you just got your car right, get use to the power it already has for a few months, you'll probably be trashing it everyday in the first 3 months, so its safe to run stock boost, (hint, with 10psi and trashing it everyday, bye bye turbo) then get your turbotech, pur it on 10Psi you could try 12Psi on really cold nights just to c how it feels, run your 10 Psi all the time but to trash it in hot days, when you get a front mount you can trash it abit harder, or maybe get that flick switch thing boostcontroller set it to 11Psi and stock, 11 cause you'nt be runing it all the time... get me...
  17. i dont even move my seat every 1 to the opther side,
  18. yeah a lip thats sits flush dont have to have it pointing out, where you from anyway
  19. Yes good idea i hate the S 1 wings, the boot actually sits lower then the fenders so you'll have to get a back lip for it made up, to sit flush and to cover the holes from the wing, am sure you'll find these easly
  20. i had that on my first line, so obviously i like it since i got the same one made up again after 2 accidents
