  1. I quit....it was to much work
  2. Get some new spark-plugs, oil filter, air filter and engine oil. If you are happy with the way the car is running after this service change the gear box oil and diff.oil. This can be scheduled for the next service 5000kms on. If you are un-happy......look at changing leads/coils,petrol filter. This will help fuel and spark delivery. Hope I have been of some help.
  3. So the answer would be to get a rubber strap Surely we can give an electrical discharge circuit to the front seat so we don't pick up this static.... Is the solution that easy though? Think....your not just on here to check other peoples avatars are you?
  4. I tried to get new furry pads.Noticed they were stuffed when we did the speakers. Luckily one side has about 3cm left on it and does not rattle when door is shut.(Window down) My biggest worry is some-one slamming the other door when the window is down. Went to the wrecker and inspected all the doors to find you are unable to remove them because they fall apart. The condition of the ones I looked at were no better than mine with somepieces missing or about to fall. Went to Nissan and was told the pads only come complete with metal brace.Cost $430 Approx for two.L and R I can have a tool made for $300 and run 100 metres for $1 a meter and sell it to every-one in cut pieces. Wonder if we can get enough people who would like to share the costs ? I could design the thing to clip on rather than its poor channel design now.
  5. Most cold start problems are from fuel and air mixtures. So you have either a blocked or faulty pump(or petrol filter) or your afms are stuffed.
  6. I have a set on my car but they are orange,,,, I am looking to update to white. If you find them PM me. If you want to buy my set...when you locate them.....thats ok by me
  7. Patrick.....I nominate myself as test Pilot for the next GTR. And also the new Executive director...position I have just made open.....seeing we can for a short time
  8. Mutiny I say. I second the vote
  9. I was told the tyres rotate and pick up charges or something like that and that was the cause. Maybe it is my clothes....I'll try cotton tommorrow and see if this works. Also, this looks like it happens to every-one then?
  10. $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ Just my 2c
  11. Farkin alright....some-one buy him one and send it over to the South Park victims..... And this is why you did not want to go 3L with oversize? That is the most logical choice in Australia.
  12. To my readings the turbos are not limited by the air flow meters and are spinning at higher revs to begin with...this is why responce is quicker.thus turbo life is shorter. Most of the WA guys swear by the better set up using the D Getro vertion of the power-fc. Correct me if any one actually has heard different.
  13. So I look like I am crazy in the car...as if I don't look like that now A more non crazy solution please.
  14. Be more specific on what service you want to carry out Major to some people like myself is coolant flush, oil flush, change plugs, clean air pods, change petrol filter, change oil filter, check brakes, rotate tyres, check pads, diff oil change, gear box oil change check battery level..,etc.etc.etc.....As you can see the list is large. Each part that needs to be replaced has had some discussion on what type is recomended and where they purchased the products from. When you are happy with the products you want to buy,for the service....then shop them around to see the price differences. Do a search on each service you would like to under-take. Hope I have been of some help. Cheers
  15. Hello Maintenance heads. I would love to stop this shock ....without having a piece of rubber dragging around on the ground Who knows how to fix it?
  16. The turbo's life is shorter on a D Jetro ...this is why I did not take this path. For the figures you are looking at though it is the best option...for value for money that is. But if you are well cashed up, thats another thing What are you planning to use it for?Track or Drag
  17. They would not be that accurate...to the day? Are they like you have shown with a comma(,) in-between each number?
  18. Ovulator....she is on heat gauge. With pointer to location of female. Busted......cops up a head gauge. With pointer to location of police. Flying-high......avoid drug dealers gauge. With pointer to location of drug-dealer Is it time to close this thread yet??????

  21. http://www.nengun.com/catalogue/product/777 Are these the ones? Might be worth the money seeing I am chasing a reliable ride..... Just ordered them...the easy work is done just need some one to fit and tune
  22. Sorry did not read your post and the fact you don't want to go 3L and over sized... . But still waht modes do you have?
  23. For the money..... Would it not be wiser to spend it on a 3L bottom end , a set of oversized forged pistons, cams and a decent head port? I Find these kits to expensive. What modes do you have and what power figures are you looking at?
  24. I love the noise the twins make fluttering about between heavy throttle release . They were quieter though when I had the stock turbos..... Now the sounds have a higher pitch in the beggining when they open up and the flutter is more like a large bird of prey.... LEAVE THEM ON.
