Gunmetal Grey or Metallic Charcoal, NOT BLACK ...great to keep clean too
-
Hello again, My guess would have been the same even without facts. So we have improvements......everything counts. So .........they are not shit...if built well. Just by looking at a manifold does not cut it .Just because you do not agree with the way they bend. Trying then and putting them on a dyno is a better way to evaluate them. Cheers.

Hello...Thanks for your replies guys... Some tyre pricing for you Yoko's (unsure of pattern )275/40/18 $500 each Ventus K104 275/35/18 $310 each Ventus K107 295/30/18 $410 each Not thinking of buying different sizes because of the Attessa. Although might give that the flick later. The widths do vary........why do tyre manufacturers do this...is thw width measured internally and not at the treads? Cheers

Hello, Does your after market radiator have good air-flow characteristics. ie .Can the fan pull air through . Check this first, could be a solid built one meant to go infront of the intercooler, with less openings. Firstly move the oil cooler to another location. GTR's have a large opening for airflow. Also they have a large opening in between radiator and intercooler. Some companys sell deflector(Air) even for the GTR to improve its cooling ability. It is not the amount of water you put into the radiator that will cool the engine down. It is the ability to suck the air through the radiator core to cool the coolant down to cool the motor. By your picture I am unable to see the gaps in between rad. intercooler and least of all your front bumper to identify your problem. If you have addressed these problems ,check your system has good coolant flow and there is no blockeg. Then get larger fans installed. I hope I have been of some help. Good luck

Hello again, AFM's.....give them a clean and check connections. Sensor's O2 might also cause this problem. When have you last checked your spark plugsand coils? Last car I had Mazda 929 had corrossion on the leads, it would play up when I was at low revs. At high revs the car would run fine. You really need a tune....get one before it causes bigger problems for you. The tuner will identify your problem.....it should be apparant under low load conditions. Cheers

Rb26 Stock Manifolds Vs Aftermarket Manifolds
700HP-GTR33 replied to rb26s13's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
Hello, Run aftermarket manifolds from a good supplier that has been in the business for some time.... Tomie,HKS,Tune agent type that have good Australian representation. Responce will be better, power will increase and with custom or after-market dumps spool times will be fine. Hope I have been some help to you -
Hi guys, I am curious when do you label a manifold dodgy? What makes a Manifold dodgy? Name marked on it ? Surely we need to name manufacturers, and types of manifolds that are on the market. Before saying ...those cheap Chinese one's. Just by saying near enough....they all fit in the same equation...all dodgy...is not good enough. Give us serial numbers, and part numbers. This Topic is going no-where. Just people expressing there opinions and there previous experiences with manifolds. What I am trying to say is........show your facts....post them up, with the type of manifolds used. This might help others and might just help this guy make a better choice. Cheers

Hello Kyle, Could you have a faulty blow off valve? Have you done any work on the intercooler or exhaust lately? Sound like a block of some-sort. Is your petrol pump making funny noises on start up and shut down? This can be caused by fuel delivery also.Less fuel for motor to keep turbo's spooling. Does it feel like it wants to stop and go...stop and go when the turbos play up? The other thing it could be is boost controller ,do you run one? But then again could be compressor surge...as Paul has said. Good luck. Hope I have been some help

I love Yoko's...I will look into them tommorow. I have had a price on second hand Pirelli 70% tread and Bridgestone 75% tread. Does any-one use seconds because they save 1000's or is it just because they are a better tyre. Why are the K104's at 310 ,Re55 at 470, Bridgestone at 750 and Pirelli at 900 The more I look the worse it gets.

Group Buy - Braided Stainless Clutch Lines
700HP-GTR33 replied to performance-wise's topic in For Sale (Business Traders)
Hello paul, Master cylinder GTR33 Braided Line. Count me in.Smoke with clear cover Tekin -
Thanks Beer Baron, I am thinking of going 275/35/18 in the Hangkook K104, or 285/30/18 in Hangkook K107 which is just new on the market so asking anybody about these are really a waste of time. I will buy them next week so hopefully have some more time to research a little more. Might see if anybody does a 275/40/18 this would be ideal I think.

What tyres and Rim size are you running Kyle?

Flat Spot On Tyres? How To Avoid?

This chap is doin his money in tyres and all you hoons think he drives like a monkey. -
The 34 had the newer N1's fitted which had less lag . I am not 100% on the power rating for the 32 and 33 N1's but the 34 is stated as 300HP each. We are talking GTR? As far as trying to identify them ,do a search it will give you your important measurements. Stock standard turbo's are smaller internally and produce less power and less lag. 32 and 33 Standard turbo's are also not BB and have had some problems, due too ceramic use. Tempreature and wear has made them britle This has caused lots of heart-ache to owners of stock GTR32's ,damage to engine etc. GTR33 owners are next to have this problem if the Turbo's are not upgraded, they are getting old too. Unsure if the 34GTR standard turbo's are BB. though but sure they would have got rid of the ceramic wheel. Cheers

OK, Got my new rims from Leo ,(JDM CONCEPT) XD9 Gunmetal 18" by 10" DEEEEEEP-DISSSSHHH. They look fantastic. The tyres are the hardest choice to make. I drive the car daily and want a good quality tyre without it setting me back $4000 plus. Yes I am as shocked as you are....these apparently go on Ferraris, Porsche etc. All tyres above 255mm wide have a price penalty attached to them. They come with the OH factor. OH you need them that wide.....OH you also need the same size for the fronts. OH OH OH OH OH And these are the tyre dealers...and suppliers. It is as if I have a larger nose than every-body and all they seem to say is OH. Volume is the key to manufacturing costs of these items, sure I understand but the difference from 255 to 295 is almost double, that i cant understand. Ok I am happy with 285/35 for these Rims. The height for the ride and the width for the handling. I fear if I go wider I will have a hard time steering and if I go lower I will have a harder ride than I have now sitting on Ohlins. I can go as high as 315/30 but am concerned not only on the two above points ,but also on my pockets. So my choices are 275/40 ,275/35,275/30,280/35.285/30.285/35,290/30,290/35,295/30,300/30,305/30,310/30,315/30 Which tyre? What size? Now you know what i am going through.HELP! I have bought many tyres in my life, none have been this complicated to choose from. Any input......besides OH Would be great, Thanks

Flat Spot On Tyres? How To Avoid?
700HP-GTR33 replied to RBFIRE's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
You are bouncing all over the place , you might not be able to tell though. Sounds like your shocks have had it.Maybe not matched to the springs.Get it checked . I hope i have been some help. -
Hello , You must work out the offset of your front(new) rims you are wishing to install. If the rears are +34mm and 8 inch. More than likely the front are +22mm at 7"(Or close too) this would have given the balance that the original suspension was set up to do.Do a quick measurement to see if this is true. The previous owner of these rims worked it out and purchased the correct offsets. By putting spacers as what was stated you are loading pressure on different points of the suspension that were not designed to take. Smaller front tyres allow you to steer better and larger back tyres allow you to put more power onto the ground, this is the logic.

Flat Spot On Tyres? How To Avoid?
700HP-GTR33 replied to RBFIRE's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
Have you checked your front end and suspension. I have seen some tyres wear out in 1 week due to faulty suspension. You are on a time bomb, get it fixed before you snow plough into the person in front of you. That is my guess......other than bad tyre pressures. good luck -
Aquarium....MCG....Telstra Dome....Vic Market....the list goes on and on.

260RS ....the same motor as the GTR in that year.....What year is it...? If you have a 98 and up they are the BB type. If you have the ceramic... GO air mods, exhaust mods, computer and boost controller,N1 gtr(300Hp each turbo's) This should get you to that figure. But after you get use to the power you will not be able to push these turbo's much further
