  1. You need to make a divider which seperates the inside of the can into 2 halves, one half for each hose. This is best made from thin alloy... At the bottom of the divider you should drill some holes for the air to go though, note these holes should be at the bottom as it forces the air to go through the stocking which is the next bit. Stuff some kitchen scoures (spelling, you know what I mean) into stockings, tie them off a put one in each side of the catch can. Dont use steel wool as it can rust! The stocking should catch the oil but let the air through, so now you have an oil/air seperator
  2. go to the rev menu, the lauch control setting is the one under the rev limit setting. Set it and see if it works. If you dont have a pro then it might not even be there.
  3. Do you have launch control? If no then you dont. Also there would be a different software version displayed on startup. I dont ever pay attention so I dont know what the version is though.
  4. I DO! , I DO! see post above yours, PFC Pro
  5. What tyres are those? I have some cheap 265's with new tread and can spin up in second... with only 200rwkw
  6. That might be a PFC Pro. I have the Pro version and it uses ign cut for rev limit not fuel cut. I often hit the rev limiter (7000 rpm on rb25det) and have not noticed increased knock. What do others run as there rev limit on an rb25det???
  7. If there is water in your catch can it would have to be a head gasket right... anyone
  8. Thats what I was tring to say
  9. Sounds to me like he would be better off by simply trimming the injectors. You can set all 6 injectors to run at a certain % thus leaning the whole map off. He should figure out how much off a % difference there is between his new injectors and his old ones then minus that % in the injector trim. I am not sure which number the menu is on the HC. But it is easy to see if you go into each menu under settings. Its the one with 6 rows and probably 100% on each row. if that make sence???
  10. I'm with ed, if you have to ask where it is and couldn't just find it buy having a look, maybe you shouldn't be messing your AFR's
  11. Sorry mate, I know that I said I would take a pic of the motor for you but I just moved and its in a box some where. I will post it up when I find it for ya...
  12. Dam, Oh well looks like its re-build time & 300+wrkw
  13. reset your ecu, your car might still be running rich due to the overboost the other day. Ps, I assume you have a standard ECU otherwise ignore me
  14. Lighter rims would spin up easier, same principal as a lightened flywheel, something to do with inertia (spelling????)
  15. Holly Sh8T, That thing actually goes like a real bullet!
  16. Nup, all stock inside. I would like to get a new zaust cam but i dont have the $700 for it. I am hoping to get around 260rwkw at ~20psi. I would be happy with 250 though
  17. I have a Ceramic 5 Puk clutch and am hoping for 260rwkw when tuned. Will my clutch hold this power???? Its a UAS one.
  18. Low mount is more EPA friendly and the install is cheaper.
  19. Do you just want the motor or the whole rack? as the motor can be taken off, and my old rack has a split in the metal but I think the motor would be fine.
  20. You need that blue hosing to go from your intake piping OR compressor housing to the waste gate actuator, with the boost controller sitting in between "Bleeding" the air out. From that pic its hard to tell where the ends of that blue hose end up???
  21. I dont think that I need a oil cooler as my car has never seen the track and wont for awhile. On the street it only gets hammered here and there. However the re-location of the oil filter would be handy but not handy enough to justify the dollars.
  22. Yea, I have to do the Z32 AFM and also have some 555cc nismo's to go in as well. I wont do that stuff till the weekend before the tune cause I need my car during the week.
  23. Mate, I am in the same boat. I installed my GT30 about 2 weeks ago and since then I have been cruzing around at 1/4 trottle as it's not been tuned yet... Its so hard not to give her a skirt <_< I have put the foot down once or twise but the knock goes through the roof so I must show self restraint... 2 weeks to go for me, I reakon it would be easier if I just dopped the car off at the tuners now and ride to work for the 2 weeks
  24. At 19psi I should get close enough, and the BOV should not leak then I am happy to sacrifice a couple of kw's for not having to upgrade the BOV. If it becomes a major issue, I guess I could just wack on a GTR one ???
  25. Sh*t, Well I hope to make 260 rwkw just under 20 psi so hopefully I should be right... I have a PFC so I cant run an external BOV :{
