  1. I dont have permission to upload any photos in my personnal section... Sorry if this one has been convered.
  2. thanks again guys, a couple more q's: 1)Anything else that I need when buying new injectors, like washers etc??? 2)After I install the z32 AFM, do I select "super intake" in the PFC options or is it the other option for z32?? 3)What/where do I make the injector correction for 740cc or 555cc injectors in the PFC? I am asking these questions cause I need to make sure that the car will travel to sydney from canberra after the installations... At this point I am looking at putting the Z32 on, the GT30 hybrid and leave the injectors to the tuner.
  3. here is mine.
  4. Would I be able to install the turbo & new injectors, make the injector correction in the PFC then drive from canberra to sydney to get the tune done or would the car run like sh*t?
  5. Thanks for all your replies, I will probable go for nismo 555cc. What else do I need to get / have to do the injector swap??? Is it hard to do the swap your-self? And yes, I am using a PFC.
  6. Hi, I am planning on upgrading rb25det turbo to a GT30 hybrid, the hpInABox one (has a machined nissan zaust housing) I have all the supporting mods except injectors and Z32 AFM. I am hoping for around 250rwkw. 1st question is there anything I should be aware of when removing the current turbo and replacing it with the gt30. I will have all the water & oil lines and the spacer required in between the turbo and manifold?? 2nd question is what injectors should I go for. At the moment I am thinking of either HKS or Nismo 555cc ones which will cost about $900. But you can get 740cc for slightly more, should I get the bigger ones seeing to price difference is only about $100??? Last Question, there is another member on this forum who has made 260rwkw with this setup but did it running 20psi. Is 20psi of boost too much for stock internals on a rb25det? any comments are welcome...
  7. I have had the same issue, but mine did it also when there was plenty of voltage (seen from PFC). I always figured the starter motor was not engauged right. All I do to fix the issue is move the car a little while in gear the the problem goes away. I dont know if I am right with my theory but it works for me...
  8. Unless your running huge amounts of boost you stock BOV will be more then fine. Ps, the search feature is your friend. This has been covered heaps...
  9. cheers, that was kinda what I figured...
  10. Sorry dont mean to be rude: NA cars run with neg pressure in the plenum. This is what pulls a BOV open, therefore the BOV on a na car would be always open... This would be like punching a hole in your intake piping somewhere which would probably mess with your Air/fuel ratio's. No performance gains to be made with this mod. I am not 100% on the: "the BOV on a na car would be always open" call but i am pretty sure
  11. Sounds like a great idea in theory, I not sure if it would be used much. It will be very handy for hi-price purchases though
  12. That use to be the best spot for a little tail action until they put those traffic islands in :{ Still not bad but only a glimmer of its former glory
  13. Hmmm maybe I need to change my approach for breaking them in. So far I have been doing long breaking periods with with light load, I guess like ridding the breaks. So now I should do 5 x 100 to 40 hard breaks then cruz around while they cool off?
  14. yea I guess, but it could have been anyone maning the stand...
  15. That method of bedding them in might work if you have perfectly smooth disks. I would think that if you had some very light groves then this heavy braking could create hot spots on the pad which could spread??? I dont see how smoke coming for brand new pads could be good for them.
  16. First thing first: You need to get the T3 flange for a RB25DET, Greenline & Nengun sell the HKSGT2835 Pro S Kit (T3 flange) which gives you everything you will need for just under $4000 I think, but am not sure that the GT2835R is a T25 flange type which will not fit on your rb25det mf...
  17. I have put RB47's on the fronts this weekend just pased. So far ZERO squeaking, but I have not done any hard braking yet as I am still beding them in... Its good to have a short brake pedal again, my old pads has less than nothing left in them
  18. I have gone with RB74s, they should arive today. I will fit them on the weekend and see how they go. They must be better then the EBC Green Stuff breakes I have been using.
  19. who make these RB74 pads? I have heard only good things about them..
  20. Just called autobarn. The EBC range goes as follows: black, green, red, yellow, blue. petemillis: are your yellow pads noisy? Also, autobarn informed me that Bendix dont make their ultimates for R33's anymore, can anyone confirm this?
  21. What is the difference between EBC Yellow stuff & EBC Green Stuff? I have EBC green stuff and they are too hard IMO. They make a terible sound like they are grinding away my disks...
