  2. Dont mean to be stealing the thread but I will take this grill for $90 in the colour it is if no body wants it...
  3. Can you please email me your phone number or email address to chat about the parts [email protected]
  4. Hope you get off there INASNT. I'd be a pi**ed as you if I was in your situation... M3's are sseeexxxxyyyyyyy.........
  5. Yea, my boost gauge is tapped into the fuel pressure regulator...
  6. Is there any damage to the parts, and do you have any pics of them? Would you considder COD? I have bought lots of parts from melbourne like that before, it seems people in melbourne lie to crash cars... :-}
  7. Hi, I need the front right wheel steering knuckle and hub of a r33 gts-t. If you have one please email me at [email protected] cheers...
  8. Hi I have posted once or twise (see above) but never introduced myself. I live in the "Nappy Vally" and drive a R33 GTS-T in gun metal with a veilside front bar and crome 19's. Anyway me and banger (posting above) have started a new canberra car club thingy at www.alwayssideways.com . We put the site up 2 weeks ago which includes a forum, pics and vids and some other random sh*t. Anyway check the site out if you have some spare time and want to have a chat or check out some vids... Your contrabution will be appreiated... Thanks & see you around.
  9. So does the r33 GTR have a stock boost guage? If so it will have a small 1 bar map sensor at the top left of the engine bay. You can tap into the hose running of that.
  10. Yes, it does go tap into the intake plenum. There should be some hosing about 5 mil think comming of you plenum for your boost gauge to run off. what model is your car? does it have a boost gauge?
  11. So far this is what i know: 1) Connect the Apexi map sensor (included in kit), if you have an r33 find the sensor that runs the stock boost gauge then run a T peice of the hose that connects to it. Then run the hose to the Apexi map sensor. If you dont have an r33 then use the hose that you run your boost guage off. Next you need to connect the apexi map sensor to your PFC (cable included and there is only one in the kit that will fit). 2) Connect the apexi boost solenoid, simply replace the stock solenoid with the apexi one. NOTE, you may have to change the posi of the ports on the solenoid depending on you setup. (see the guide on the US apexi site for the AVCR). You plug the apexi solenoid into the plug that the stock solenoid used. If the plugs are not the same it probably means that you have a solenoid for the GTR and you might have to cut the wires and solder them. 3) Tuning, go to the boost menu on the hand controller. Set the desired boost level in BAR. Go for a run under good load in third gear. If you do not get the boost you wanted then increase the base duty, if you over boosted then retard the base duty. NOTE: If you increase the base duty too much then your boost controller will spike, but if you dont have enough base duty then you wont come on boost hard enough. You dont have to get it exactly right though as the boost controller will learn the right boost curve after a couple on runs. I am in the process of doing the above and I hope it all makes sense. If you have any further questions about the install then send me a PM. Chances are that I would have had the same problem.
  12. I would like the same info...
  13. I have a couple up at www.alwayssideways.com under the pics and vids section. You will have to be a member of the forum though (only takes 1 min). There are about 7 or 8 up but I have about 40 more to go up soon... I also have access to the drift bible as an avi
  14. So basically if you situated the AFM right after the intercooler and you have a decent intercooler this theory should be sound... I would agree with you steve, I think from what Warpspeed said that water injection right before the AFM will cause troubles! Thanks for the info WarpSpeed
  15. this might be a stupid question, but what is a Hot wire AFM? Can I have this setup using the standard AFM?
  16. Yea I though about that but i could not find anything in engine bay for the plug to connect to?
  17. bump, somebody out there must have the boost kit for the pfc?
  18. OK so I have the MAP sensor hooked up but I dont know where to hook up the Boost solenoid, I thought it whould plug into the stock solenoid plug but it does'nt Any ideas?
  19. Sitting on the rev limiter in first when you get of the line is not helping...
  20. I have one wire left over after starting the instal of the boost kit, as far I have the follow hooked up: 1. wire from Apexi boost solinoid to the same place as the stock solinoid. 2. wire from the kit map sensor to the pfc 3. ? the one left over Is this left over wire for another application or have i missed something?
  21. How much did you pay for the Datalogit setup?
  22. The speedo is not right at those speeds I think.
  23. I have been well over 200 but the problem is, I dont think the speedo is too accurate at those kinds of speeds. From what I have seen 250 can be done(I have 19's though) and I think you might be able to push 265-270 maybe? Car floats a bit at those speeds and it is something I wont be doing again, way too un-safe!
  24. that ceffy is awsome!!!!!!!
