  1. Yea nice reply, people need to get of their high horse and realise that not everybody is going to be right 100% of the time, but at least they are trying to help. So what if you get some info wrong from time to time, the point of a forum is to get varied opions is'nt it?
  2. WTF? OK, If you install your PFC without the OPTIONAL BOOST KIT then you will have to tell the PFC that you do not have the boost kit (done in hand controller menu) and the car will boost up to stock psi levels (7psi) NOTE: If you dont have a hand controller then you cannot tell the PFC that there is no Boost Kit and your car wont start... Your 2 other options are: 1) Buy a Bleed valve or EBC and tell the PFC that you dont have the boost kit 2) buy the boost kit for the PFC and use the hand controller to set boost levels. I would suggest number 2... Unless you are strapped for cash? (you can get a bleed for about $50)
  3. I drove mine around on the base map for a while and there were no probs. BUT I took it very easy becuase you dont know if its gonna lean out or not. If you are going to use a bleed you will need to go into the etc menu and turn off the boost controll from there otherwise you car wont start or idle right.
  4. NO wiring, Search For PFC it has been convered lots!
  5. You cant boost lower than the waist gate is set to open at (thats what I though?). So you are going to have to adjust the waist gate actuator arm so that the gate is always open. It should not cost too much...
  6. can you get it on x-box?
  7. So you need an external waistgate for this right?
  8. How do the GTS-T bovs fare? I have blocked of the bleed hole as well...
  9. Some one once told me that Bleeders are illegal but EBC's are not? Can anyone confirm this?
  10. why do people always get caught up in this v-shit!!! essentially the machanics of the v-spec are the same as standard arnt they?
  11. If you have a GTS-t you already have a LSD...
  12. Are you guys wearing beer goggles or something?
  13. Geee they are ugly, Its needs the back doors cut off? How do these things move anyways?
  14. Shell I would try to source the light and the front pannel on the site. Then get the pannel painted and fit every thing your self (if there is no stucture damage!). Will only end up costing you a couple hundred if you go that way... If you are not sure about pulling bits off your car there are always people here that can help. It would only be a couple of hours once the pannel is painted and my and Jay95R33 could help you out... Sorry for speaking for you Jay...
  15. I think I just saw Aurora near Fadden Pines. Not sure if it was you but got a wave out of however it was anyway...
  16. Call tempy tires (excuse the spelling) and order a new stud!! They can also fit it for you The stuff will cost $5 and fitting will be about $80 or so
  17. I agree sticky it up!!!!!
  18. thanks, hack job is all thats needed. Is it possible to do without the crome finish? ps, I dont want to waist anybodies time. So if this is time consumming dont worry about it!
  19. You guys can start a Vic section of alwayssideways. Just a suggestion not a plug
  20. I was wondering if anybody out there would be able to change the colour of my rims from crome to bronze/gold. I am thinking of doing this for real and want to see what it looks like before I do. (sorry about the shit pic!)
  21. The transmitter is in the fuel tank, so open your boot and take out the plastic covering the battery etc. You will see a metal plate on the right bottom side of the shelf. This is where you will gain access the the transmitter. Note: I have never done this before, the guy who installed my fuel pump did it so i am no expert! Just trying to help :-}
  22. Its true that a steel wheel will take more heat than the ceramic one. But if you take a RB25 turbo and put it in a RB20 you will be able to run more than 14psi that is possible in its original application. I did not know that the RD20 turbo had a steel wheel? Why did nissan go to the ceramic one? Maybe for a quicker spool up yime or something...
  23. Its not that 32 turbos are more heat resistant, Its more the fact that the rb20 produces less heat to the turbo than rb25
  24. R32's dont produce the same heat in the zaust housing. Heat is what kills these turbos, so less heat = more potential boost. So a 32 can in theory run more boost than a 34 or 33 if we are talking ceramic or platic compound compressor wheels.
