  1. As the topic says $2000 with 245 35 brand new rubber on the front and 265 30 80% rubber on the back Tempe Quoted me $2900 for these wheels 1 week ago... Pics can be viewed here: http://www.alwayssideways.com/forum/topic....sp?TOPIC_ID=195
  2. SD has helped me on more than one occasion and I thank him for that. I dont think its a good idea to advertise SD as the answer to all questions though. As said by RegLineGTR he has a life outside of SAU I am sure. How about a "Thanks for ya help SD" thread. HHhmmm I guess this thread is gonna be like that soon...
  3. I'am in !!!!!!!!!
  4. I have a ceramic button clutch from UAS in Sydney. It cost me about $500 replace and should hold up to 250rwkw. The oply prob with it is that I have a steep drive way and if you ride this clutch it stops working until it cools down...
  5. Could just be a blown head gasket couldn't it???
  6. AFR's of 9 to 1 are pretty rich right?? So if their is air coming in through the BOV recycle pipe after the AFM it should lean out the AFR's (as SydneyKid said). Sounds like there is not much air coming from the BOV pipe at all if your AFR's are 9 to 1. Doesn't seem to make sence to me...
  7. What about he clone tool, it might work. Like you I dont nkow much about photo shop
  8. IMACUL8 : perhaps I was a bit abrupt (its been a long day). However, you gave no help in choosing from the narrowed down list provided and instead suggested 2 4WD cars. I think comments like "dont bother" are waisting every ones time...
  9. Why? Do you need 4WD to be able to drive???? Not everybody wants 4WD if thats what you are getting at. If you wont suggest anything from the list then dont post... If you must make irrelevant comments then at least give a reason.
  10. It already looks better though
  11. Depends if you want something that will be fast. Remeber modding your car is F8cken expensive so if you are going to go down that path then I would get the 1994 as half of the expense is already covered... NOTE: No matter what you say now your new stock line will feel slow in a couple of weeks... I was very disapointed with the performance of my stock skyline, and about 7 g's later in performance parts I am happy (for now )
  12. With the series 2 ecu and the mods listed you may reach 200rwkw on a friendly dyno at say 13psi. Its really depends on the dyno used. To reach 200rwkw you would generally need at least some sort of fuel modifier and possibly ignion changes as well. I would be very suprized if you got 200rwkw with a stock ECU and no piggies. As for power figure and your boost level: With a FMIC you can safely run 12psi, but you may get ignition cut before then, if so just turn boost down until it goes away. I reakon you should get around 185 - 190 at the wheels
  13. You have a PM, I have some stock parts you can have if you need em to get through rego.
  14. $250 to fit a Zaust????? FFFFAAARRRRKKKK I would have done it for a case of beer...
  15. apparently the cops have set up a task force that monitor forums like ours. I think they would target silvia's a lot more though as there seems to be a lot of bragging going on over there. I cant get over the fact that they have a "braggs" section WTF ???
  16. Can some admin type guy remove the first of these posts, Anyway about the topic. the fine for 128kmh cant be that big. I would not bother waisting my time for that kinda money. The process of appealing a speeding fine can be very lengthy.
  17. woops, you knew what I meant ....
  18. No hail here in civic, but F8ck loads of rain and wind.
  19. Woops, forgot about the fuel pump which you WILL have to replace when you get the PFC. I would not worry about a new turb until you a sick of 200wrkw. Trust me, it wont take long
  20. 1) turbo back zaust (and get a cold air box for that POD) 2) FMIC 3) EBC (electronic boost controller) (boost to anything <= 14 psi for non track use) 4) Zaust Cam gear 5) Apexi PFC computer That should see you to 200rwkw Have I forgotten anything guys/gals?
  21. I think 6's are too cold for 12 psi, 7 would do... I run 14 psi with sevens all day long and they work fine. I would only go 6's if you are having knock problems. Sometimes if your plugs are the wrong heat range or too hot like 8's or 9's they can act like glow plugs and cause you mixtures to detonate early in the cylinder causing knock. my 2 cents, correct me if i am wrong
  22. 7 is good if you are running higher boost, but dont put them in until you have done your other mods. I think 7's might foul fairly easily on a stock line.
  23. Is it just me or does that waist gate setup seem a bit weird???? I am not trying to bag your items out, just curious....
