  1. Its not your BOV if it is happening on accelleration. I tend to agree with GTST with this one. It sounds like compressor surge back past your turb. I am no expert on surge though, as I only have a stock turb and I didn't think that this ever happened on stock turbs.

  4. I have my irridiums gapped tp .5 and they work fan F8cking tastic. They are NGK Irriway 7 though... I have gapped every iridium plug I have ever owned without any probs including bkr6eix-08's. I dont see any issue with gapping them down, but I would only do it if you are experiencing flat spots etc etc... NOTE: Be very carfull when gapping them down...

  7. Just about anybody in canberra can tune them. They are pretty user friendly, just get the manual from the apexi usa site. I had mine road tuned by some guy in Queenbeyan, peice of p*ss...

  11. The SAFC11 will solve your probs if you get a boost cut defender as well. My suggestion if you want to make 200wrkw is to add up the cost of a boost cut defender and the SAFC11. Then look at the prices of the uni chips and other piggy backs. If the prices are close then go for the later as the UNI chip does ignition as well...
  12. 1) Could be stock ecu boost cut. How much boost are you running? 2) Thats about the time the VVT comes in, So big touque increase which means your spark could be a little weak at that point. What have you set your spark gap to, what is the heat range of your plugs? Try lowwering the gap by 1 mil. 3) There could be a air leak in your intake piping somewhere?

  14. most of them are rubber. There is no advantage that i can think of by having a metal one.
  15. How much did you move the CAS? If moving the CAS helped the problem a little then I would say that you may have put the belt on 1 tooth out. Dont quote me, just an idea. Sorry couldn't be more help. How hard was it to change the timming belt and water pump?

  25. It depends on what you want the turbo to do? I would not get anything small than a 2535 but thats just me. Sorry if this did'nt help much but we need more info on what you want from the turbo
