  1. Looks tough Karl. That is some serious stretch on those tyres lol
  2. Similar to removing a front bar, but some of the bolts are a little harder to get to. You need to take the wheels off to get to them. Just find all the bolts and take them off. Take your number plate off too cause it gets in the way. Sorry, but I don't have any pics
  3. Yea, as Pat says... everyone will have difference opinions. Thats what makes modding cars so interesting. Look in the photography section. There is a thread full of R34's. You'll be able to see pretty much anything on offer there. Once you have made up your mind, then search for that
  4. ^^^ Thats exactly what I was trying to say. Your wording is much better Nick
  5. lol... yea, they are pretty tight. Use a piece of round metal tubing to extend the length of the spanner handle, if that makes sense. If you can't get it right, send me a PM. Bring it over to my place and I'll show you how its done
  6. Well... its either a series 1.5 which all came with airbags, or its a series one that came with an airbag as a factory option. Its rare to find series ones with airbags, but from memory you could get it as an optional extra. Main thing to know is if your car had an airbag, you're not supposed to change the steering wheel if the new one doesn't have an airbag. Not that it stops anyone.
  7. Melski, yours is a series 1.5, thats why you had an airbag To remove the cover there is a screw that you have to get to. With the series one steering wheel, if I remember correctly, its just one screw located directly under the wheel that screws upwards. It is covered by a little plastic tab. Once you remove this, the bottom of the cover will be loose. You can then pull it upwards. The top is held in with two clips so as you pull it up they will pop off.

Good luck man. Hopefully you'll get it this time haha
  9. You have to remove the centre cover. This will be slightly different depending on what car it is and whether there is an airbag. It's pretty easy to do though. Just find the covers where the bolts are. Once this is off, you will see one nut in the centre of the steering wheel holding it on the shaft. Take the nut off and pull the steering wheel off and put it back in the corrent spot. Word of warning. If the steering wheel is hard to pull off, put the nut back on the shaft about two turns. This will avoid the steering wheel flying off into your face when it gives way
  10. Yea, if they randomly work and then stop it definately sounds like the control unit. Dry solder joints
  11. Its weird that its both, if you check what Paul suggested and still come up empty, open the control unit. Its inside the drivers door. Look at the solder joints. If there are any that look dull, heat them up with a soldering iron so the solder reheats. It could be as simple as dry solder joints. This happened to my R33. Just on the drivers door. After doing this, I had no more problems
  12. Did I only get one pic of you? Sorry man. Thought I got a few of everyone
  13. Sorry... Its here now clicky Some previews

Damn... this sucks Ricca. I've only ever had one yellow *touches wood* and I went to Welshpool. They were pretty good to me. The guy even gave me this booklet and said, "I see you want to mod your car so here is a booklet of guideline" Couldn't believe it after all the horror stories I'd heard haha
  16. Skylines don't come with cruise control. You can get an aftermarket cruise control system installed fairly easily. Have no idea on the cost though. Do a search on here as this question has been covered before. I'm sure there is plenty of information around here about it.
  17. My fuel light went on on the way to work. Figured I'd just go on the way home cause there is a BP around the corner from work. They better be available lol. Might not make it home
  18. I'll get onto it tomorrow Got some pretty good pics. Just need to spend some time uploading. So wish my car was ready one day earlier so I could've still been driving It sucked watching all you guys having all the fun without me.
  19. So sad to see someone go like this. RIP Cory. Thought go out to the family especially so close to Christmas
  20. I take my car to C-Red. They are a very good bunch of guys there. Very knowledgeable and friendly. Its in Welshpool, so no too far for you. As for permits. Search through SAU. There have been many instances where guys have needed permits for various things. What turbo and bov have you got?
  21. I think this will be too much for me. No sleep Friday night, then AHG all day Saturday, then cruise, then no sleep Saturday night again. Btw... the no sleeps are cause of working night shift. Gonna be missing this one me thinks
  22. I'd really like to be there for this, but I'll have to let you know. All depends how much I need to sleep. I'm working night shift everyday that weekend and I will be at AHG on Saturday all day, so I might be passing out on Sunday
  23. RICCA - yea, I didn't connect it to the strut brace, I connected it to a bolt holding another bracket to the body. Sounds like the one you're describing. Remember, the whole shell is earth, so you can connect it where ever suits you, as long as its against the body of the car.
  24. Just attach another piece of wite to it. Make sure its a good connection with either solder as Rhys said, or with a crimp kit. Crimp the two ends together. I did this to Andrew's (Hoony) car not long ago and it worked well. To give you an idea how easy it is, we did it in about 10-15 minutes in the parking lot of Morley Fast Eddy's at 2:30am on a Thursday night haha
