  2. Thats what I was trying to describe, I'll stick a post up on Rex site seeing if anyone has any pictures of the mount. Fastening a mount to the baby seat fixing points also has merit I reckon.
  3. If he's using it on the track, would a suction mount make it past the scrutineers? Google comes up with a few ideas... http://www.camerahacker.com/Car_Camera_Mount/index.shtml http://www.stickypod.com/ (scrutineers would love this one as well!) This might be OK, but only if you have adjustable head restraints. http://www.ae92gts.com/ae92gts_video_mount.html
  4. Ok. time to show some ignorance of what the inside if a GTR looks like, but does it have grab handles in the rear (the ones just above the window)? I have seen other cars with a mount made that bolts to the handle mount points and runs across behind the front seats, so the camera sits at shoulder height just between the seats. Easy enough to put in and remove. I have also seen some one with a fairly new hard disk camcorder that was small and light, he had sticky backed velcro on the bottom of the camera and on the dash, which held well enough for spirited drives down the GOR (not much use for track work though, the scrutineers wouldn't be too happy with it).
  5. James, are these similar to the new WRX club jackets (Joel has one, and I believe has some pictures as well)? The 3 part idea is great, the vest section looks OK on its own too. If they're the same sizing, I'm in for a Medium. (My membership is being processed at the moment) Cheers, Will.
  6. You're a plumber, so you must have some duct tape around?
  7. PM Age, he's sprayed several sets of wheels. The WRX club has had rim painting days where several people got together and did a load at once. They had the wheels off the car, masked the tyresoff with tape and newspaper. I believe they gave them a light sand (something like 1200 grit), then under coated, then sprayed, then clear lacquer, couple of coats of each I seem to remember. They came up great and last well, I reckon stones are gonna chip no matter who paints them. There is a DIY on the Rex club site, but its in the members only section. The wheels went from this To this Using these Black, charcoal, gunmetal and white have all been popular
  8. Sometimes I reckon we should confiscate your camera....... ....but then where would we get such great photochop ammunition?
