  1. some food for thought for you I guess... I've got the really long euro style nsw plates I used to work in a car yard & pinched a spare plastic mounting bracket from the workshop they usually just chuck out I cut off the edges until it fit in the rego plate recess & it acts as a second mounting plate so the plate sits flush against the rear bumper. A set of cylindrical spacers will do the same trick, just not as neatly

  6. Hey, do you hunt on private property? I'm only licensed for target shooting at the moment but it's getting a bit boring now & want to try pest control apparently I have to 'reapply' for an additional genuine reason, didn't know I could've applied for both at the same time
  7. I wave to coppers, they always give me a wtf look then I give them a thumbs up a few times they smile & wave back, but mostly the wtf look valiant charger for $2759? I'll take 3
  8. search on google, there are a few places that can collect from your place in the sydney metro area is a while back now but I got one of them to come to my place & they gave me $200 for an '89 corolla with 350k+ on the clock, worth more than that in sentimental value but nobody used it anymore, ran out of rego & was just easier to do than sell privately
  9. lol I like the thumbs up reflection pic good stuff
  10. If it's sort of jumping from idle by 2-300rpm when you lock the wheel either side, as others have said it's nothing to worry about, but have a look under your car & check the condition of the usual suspension stuff like end links, ball joints & rubber cv boots etc
  11. very impressive work guys, especially since this is meant to be a side project just for fun I'll go ahead & state the obvious like the rest in this thread, the host is a cutie
  12. posers anyone who cannot appreciate the oldies aren't real enthusiasts I'd give my left nut to have the spare cash/space/everything for a classic datto. I trawl on the viczcar forums & I have a tremendous amount of respect for the guys that go full restoration, let alone do most of the work themselves my dream garage would be a fully resto'd 240z & a hakosuka, a man can dream... until he wins lotto
  13. no worries funny enough I get that a lot from women, just not from dudes but thanks anyway I do like the look of bronze on that particular shade of green on the honda, depends on how close but seems like a similar dark green finish to your pulsar in the link
  14. close as I could find to the colour of your pulsar... 3 mins on google images
  15. not trying to be artsy or photograp-y. This pic just always makes me laugh a little, was taken when I was in melbourne, they do things differently down south
  16. this. I'm licensed for category A & B, even when I hire out a range just for practice that counts towards my minimum 4 annual attendances. Would love to start entering some competitions but still a bit of a newbie so want get more practice first so I don't embarass myself too much . It's not that difficult to get licensed & do everything by the book, just a case of doing the approved training courses, waiting for approvals & forms in the mail more than anything
  17. damn it I hate being so young! what with my firm skin & good metabolism! I'd trade it all to be charged around $200 less on my greenslip
  18. ^ahaha at least now your car will have a little bit of class. enjoy

    Fto's

Not cool dude Picking on Fto's is like picking on the "special" kids in school
  20. So would I I train it into the city for work & parked my car at the station, someone already put a dent on the passenger side door & some dropkick pinched my tire caps, seriously who the hell pinches tyre caps?! at least now with the pulsar it won't matter as much if things like that happen Incidentally I also watch people park at the station while I'm waiting on the platform, fkn hell people in general can't park... saw one person literally take around 7 minutes attempting to park front first then give up & take another 3 minutes trying to reverse out of the lane as it is a dead end on the other side, almost scraping the adjacent cars as they went along. No way I'm parking my car in the same lot as those muppets
  21. sorry bud can't make it out to this one I'm afraid, as much as I want to (I'm an attention whore so any excuse to get in front of a camera) devo'd!
  22. 'cause he's from adelaide, duh it's sydneys' own little las vegas & florida rolled into one I go to the gym there screw all you smartarse haters bowling, bogans & pensioners squandering my tax money on the pokies, what more could you need?
  23. yeah the jack points shown on the manual or the scissor jack is really just for emergency tyre changes you want to put jack stands on the points that duncan mentioned above
  24. cheers for the advice everyone, so looks like I'll just keep it at 3/4 full & add octane booster if needed also a drip charger sounds good to keep the battery fresh cheers looks like I've kind of started another 'post your daily driver thread'
  25. Hey peoples, Just a quick question for people who have a weekend car. Do you keep the fuel tank full & put fuel additives later on, or do you keep the tank mostly empty with just enough to get to the servo when you want to drive it? just bought a cheap daily driver so my car will really only be driven on the weekends, so a full tank of fuel would probably last 1-2months before re-fill pic of my new daily, decided to keep it in the nissan family, actually a fun little thing to punt around I decided to name it Panda because of the colour scheme, I'll probably spray the wheels black when I have a lazy weekend
